This Is All You Need | The NEW And Improved | Queen Mary Falls Caravan Park Final
Hey mate great video, could you provide the list of everything you bought for the service in this episode?
Yep sure can I'll update the description for you with that information 👍
Great vid. Is the vehicle service book full and is that why you are servicing yourself? Are you planning on keeping the vehicle or upgrading to new prado at some point?
Service book is full actually 😅. But yeah I'm keeping it. It's the last of the 3 litre, no DPF, no adblue.
haha this video , watched it 2 years ago in the 150 , was very helpful , didn't realise it was you channel
😁😁👍👍 cheers mate
A place for everything and everything in its place Clean as you go cleanliness is next to godliness Great video and great learning experience especially for me
That's its mate. Thanks for the support! 👍
3 mins in I know more about ur mechanic lol
👍
Why camp on top of everyone.
Cause we're all mates
Thxs for your videos, My horn isn't working but everything else is ok. I thought u just disconnect battery & replace it. Is there a need to do the calibration & code clearing or was yours a special case?
Mine was a special case, just checked with Dan, and he said no shouldn't have to clear any codes or calibration.
Hi. What year is this prado?
2015 mate. Last of the 3 litres
This is such a great video for inexperienced fella like me same car later model 2020 so excited to attempt this my self Is it possible you could do a video your tool set also maybe some basic tools tools to get started at the min like a the socket set wrench set spanner set Torah wrench just maybe the sizes Im thinking I don’t need to run out and get like a 108 piece set probably a 20 piece set that’s just got a generic sizes that most cars and people use Some advice would be great can’t wait drop my oil now just gotta get over this broken foot
Stay tuned for another video like this one coming up, I do mention what socket sizes you need, should be out in the next 3 weeks or so
trust me he is really good i change by watching this video today.4-12-2024
👍
Look in your owner handbook simple
Nope, not so simple. That's why I've created this episode because in my climate I'm not going to use the oil that is specified. Check what's happening to the 300 series engines now.
I tried to run my fridge in the manner you have shown but not a flicker of life and I measured the output 0 Volts
Not sure mate. It definitely worked for my Engel. I assume it's all charged up? What fridge are you running?
How does the Prado go towing the van? Do you tow in s4 or just leave in drive?
Tows awesome. I mostly towed in S4
haha suspected this test drive would not be done at Toowoomba based on the last video
😁
I just subscribed to you
I like the look of the 250 and would be ok for a shopping trolley but the 2015 and earlier 150 with the horizontal opening door and 1KD is a far superior tourer for me.
I can see that. I like my 150
Mr Craig, nice looking new250 lots added technology but lots negative points; it’s not hybrid (mild hybrid)same engine with motordynamo change,no room for second battery under bonnet, wider body and longer, wery poor storage in console ,not many colors to choose, 110l fuel tank, only 100Wpower point ,after folding second row seats floor is not flat,TPMS only for Kakadu.
Thanks for your thoughts on the Prado250. Yes, it's not for everyone, but a lot are selling. It does come with it'd pros and cons, but I'm glad this episode was able to give some better details on what they're like. Cheers mate. 👍
Love the look of this car, but the boot config, DPF, AdBlue, wind noise on the freeway (even with radio on) and gutless diesel is a deal breaker for me and my deposit refunded. Hopefully this changes in the future.
👍
That’s some pretty blatant sugarcoating about the rear boot from that dealer. Undoubtedly, the 250 is a decent car, but that boot is such an inexcusable afterthought from Toyota Australia.
Yeah boot is a bit different
add-blue so doesn't hurt itself?
That's it mate, it'll stop in its tracks if the adblue runs out
When are you buying your new Prado 250 Outahere?
I'm undecided at the moment. I have the 150 just how I like it. No DPF, No adblue 😁... and set up.
While I’m the first one to have a bit of fun and love music. Red necks are everywhere these days. No respect for the bush or anyone else. Bet they left it in a mess too.
yep, that's correct too. Probably why a lot of places are being shut down/closed off
Hello Can you please tell me where to Get the Roof Rack. Im looking for a nice one to fix on my Prado 150 . Year 2011.
Hey mate. The roof rack I have is just a Kings one. I've had it for years now still going strong. Its nothing flash. Its from 4WD Supa Centre. www.4wdsupacentre.com.au/
Diesel, did you see this video yet. My truck is too clean to need this but it looks great. ruclips.net/video/Bu-qIzHEPPs/видео.htmlfeature=shared
oh yes mate, looks great doesn't it! I'll have to give it a shot. 👍👍
Laughing my head off See that young fellas Old farts rule😂
🤣🤣
Lucky someone smelt the burning insulation
Yep, definitely!
I'm only five minutes in, but struggling to watch. You need a script to follow rather than doing it on the fly, as the ums and ahs and uncertainty of what you are trying to say is bloody annoying. Also, have a drink and clear your throat, or video another time if you're feeling crook. I struggled through to where you said about providing us good information: is that like it was a 160watt unit with a 2000watt inverter, or where you said it didn't have an Anderson on it, but you could run an Anderson from the back of vehicle to it? All the gear, but no ...
Yes, mate, thanks for your very constructive criticism. Others seem to find it informative and helpful with no complaints. I'll wait for your video mate, cheers!
Great video! I have similar issues and will be changing the LCAs on my 150 Prado. This is so much help. Thank you!
Thanks for your comments, and you're welcome 👍👍
The interior, back end is a joke with that wtf battery hump wasting all that space, with a limited 60kg weight over the said ugly battery hump
Yeah that back end is a bit weird how they have done it. The 60g limit is for that boxy thing that sits behind the rear seats
They’re kind of small & overpriced for what you get. Glad we don’t “get” a 3rd row here 🤣 From USA
We're a bit different in Aussie....😅😅...I still like my 150 3L ... no DPF and no Adblue
@@prado150outahere no diesel here, just 4cyl hybrid & no 3rd row
😲 it'll come to us no doubt some time in future
Arrow up or down?
Down mate
It’s a beautiful drive in you took there. The views along that coastline 😍 Some fun times getting the rigs in.
Yes, it's stunning that coastline 👍👍
Great help, sorted out my wipers and avoided shelling out more money to an incompetent main dealer, many thanks!
Awesome, glad I could help. 👍👍
Cancelled orders I guess, likely due to not having enough junk in the trunk.
Yeah could be.
I did takes photo of GX and GXL rear interior. They have no problem with me. 😊
Nice 👍
Great info .I have recently installed one of these and have yet to test it but sounds like it will be good. Thanks for the update. Also installed the cosmo to power the Starlink, easy to install and works well 👍
Awesome mate. Thanks for your comments, appreciate it 👍
Personally, this video has many errors on the part of the mechanic. It does not talk about oil properties. I assure you that a 5w30 synthetic PAO+ESTER oil will perform twice as well as a 15w40 mineral oil, as are 90%... and 10w40 too. Please inform well, do not put 15w40 just because they are heavy diesel...
No worries. Thanks for the info.
I’m so disappointed after waiting so long. I did see inside the rear of that GXL Prado. The rear looks like a very large black box bought from the hardware shop. I couldn’t believe you can’t remove it without voiding warranty and insurance. After explaining I wanted a new Prado for touring, (first new car ever) and the 3rd row seats (big box) were unwanted, and also confirmed the GX 5 seat had a max rear payload of 60kg, I was told I should consider a troopcarrier! No thanks to all the above. I think all 120’s and 150’s just went up in value! Ps. I was told It’s only got an 80L fuel tank too!
Yep that's it mate. I like my 150 with the 3litre engine, and no DPF!
I was so excited to get one but once went to look at it, ie seen the boot, i cancelled the order & 3 others did the same while i was there....not just the boot height but also only 60kg in the boot....my dog is 56kg
Not good hey mate. Disappointing hey
60kg max boot loading is interesting, but Toyota don’t mention point loading limits (pressure =force over area). If I’ve lost you… Just think 60kg distributed evenly over the entire boot panel, compared to a 60kg Rottweiler standing on four small contact points (let alone jumping in🫣)
So some of the info from other sources is incorrect about the 60kgs, it is only for that small box they have behind the seats. The top of it has a limit of 60kgs.
Toyota can fix this disaster by offering 5 seat GXL with 7 seat optional. Give the consumer what they want,
👍
its crap that's why. not big enough for family's not big enough for camping. i was going to buy one after been with Toyota for a long time , i ended up with the ford tremor v6. hits all the marks decent size boot , power for days.
Yeah, shame really. I'll be keeping my 150, with 150 litre fuel tanks, 3L engine and NO DPF!
that because they are ashsamed of what they done to this thinh !
🙃
because 2nd and 3rd row / boot are not meeting expectations
Yep
You can't film inside because Toyota don't want you to show the complete and utter abortion in the luggage area. I don't think I've seen a bigger fuck-up in car interior design than the crap they have produced. I thought the new Prado would be worth considering when I first saw pictures of them, but as more information becomes available, this vehicle is dropping further off my shopping list. I thought my Land Rover Discovery had very little room behind the third row of seats when in position - but the Land Rover shits all over the new Prado in this respect (and many others). And at least I can take the third row out of the back of the Land Rover if I need the extra room - the Prado is stuck with them whether you need them or not. Piss poor design.
👍
If you want to film inside get in touch with the best Toyota dealer in Qld Ross Llewellyn Toyota Would not touch a new Toyota 4x4 now … they have lost their marbles and quality failed!
Nose hair needs trimming homie.
Hahaha...😁
I was going to get the gxl until I saw the 3rd row, WTF!
Yep
The law, under the Surveillance Devices Act, is pretty relaxed when it comes to filming in public areas for your own personal use. You don’t need anyone’s permission to capture footage in public spaces like parks, streets, or iconic spots for your memories through mobile phones. This aligns with personal use, anything not intended for commercial gain. So, snapping a video of your favourite spots around the city to share with friends or keep as travel memento? No problem. However, things change if you’re filming or potentially recording private conversations, with a commercial angle. Filming for business purposes, whether to promote a product or service or to generate income in any form, necessitates you to get the appropriate permissions. This usually means obtaining a license if you’re filming on property managed by local councils or the business owner of the property. Ignoring these rules can lead to fines from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) or copyright infringement issues. Following the correct procedures under the Surveillance Devices Act 2007 and Filming Approval Act ensures you get the necessary licences and stay compliant with the law. Filming in a Private Space Without Consent Filming is only legal when you’re on private property if the property owner gives you the green light. If they ask you to stop or leave, you must comply. Ignoring their request can land you in hot water with civil and criminal trespass penalties. Taking it a step further, you could face serious charges if you’re using hidden cameras or other covert methods to record someone without their knowledge. According to section 547C of the Crimes Act 1900, it’s illegal to “peep or pry” on someone. This means you can’t hang around buildings intending to spy on others. While the law doesn’t specifically define “peeping” or “prying,” generally, “peeping” means looking through a small gap, like between blinds, and “prying” refers to any intrusive observation into someone’s private space. Getting caught doing this can result in a fine of up to $220 or a three-month stint in jail.
You're not in a public place as such so you need permission to film. Did you let the staff in the background know you'll be uploading this to youtube with their faces in the video? I doubt they'd be happy if they saw this...
Within the dealership is hardly public space 😂
No worries. I had permission to film what I filmed.
Thanks for your info, however you're missing the point. I'm fully aware about filming, i've been doing it for a while now. Yes, I had permission to film what I filmed, and also I let them know it was for my RUclips Channel and that I'd be explaining to my viewers that I wasn't allowed to film the inside of the vehicle. But thanks for your information and interest in this matter. Cheers!
Toyota is retarded.....the vehicle has been out for over a year 😂
Tuff looking rig 💯
👍
What size tires?
