Are you able to go in idle at all? Even for a second? I know its a solo guide. But I'm trying to do it with a buddy of mine. Whenever we get vomit on we like to quickly go into idle to get the vomit off our screen.

Actually hard rain you can beat the tank without hitting him. You can stand on a ledge part of the dock in the water

I also completed the achievement and im glad people still play this i finished the 5 with the Parish cause i was doing it in order from dead center all the way to the parish

Honestly, earning it the natural way is more rewarding as it feels more true to your experience as if you did beat it with a team of bots/friends, you have won and feel amazing knowing you did so. Getting past the rng, making uses of your numerous resources you have, playing smart on every turn, and even the best friend patience really allows you to win your games as you can pluck at it for so long but it will eventually will have that window of opportunity to do so. If I am gonna be frank, there are only alternatives to beating the achievement as the natural way can't really have a guide as you can't be instructed mid game by the guide alone. Least that is my thoughts on it.

Lol antlion chargers are supposed to be underground and accessed later on not on the surface. That was the game's fault for spawning that.

Do you have to beat every chapter in one campaign in one straight go? And do you have to be in the safe room for it to count? (Example you go down, but your teammate still gets to the safe room)

Tbh the realism expert achievement is best to do on the passing since the LFD 1 survivors aid you and the tanks are way easier to kill I recommend getting the cans far from the survivors first tho but I got that achievement after 13 years

I remember beating hard Rain for this achievement and calling smokers and Hunters "the fuckers " for the Rest of my life😂

The actual easiest way to get it done is with gib mutation. The unlimited ammo m60s make it super easy and hard rain becomes the 2nd easiest chapter that way. I genuinely got the achievement in under 6 hours

Damn, congratulations bro! It's always nice to see people still playing and creating guides for my favourite game. I had the painful experience of achieving it in normal campaign mode, lmao

More fun way I'd recommend if you're playing on PC: get the Left 4 Bots add on, massive improvements to your bot teammates without it being OP. It makes them closer to another player being with you.

Another good way to beat the campaigns on expert is using the mutation “Gib Fest”. It’ll become such a breeze knowing you can just hold down the trigger, if you wanted to, the whole time without having to reload

I swear hard rain was so dam hard because me and my friend were struggling so hard on the 2nd act and we had people with us but we kept on failing on and on and a coach player carried us through our 3rd attempt 💀

Since we’re talking mutations, I did this on GibFest with all the bots. Actually very easy, think I only died twice through the whole thing

I did this with gib fest since you and bots have unlimited ammo m60s so mowing everthing down is easy as long as your bots save you thankfully the bots cant hurt each other so be awesome with your aim pipes and bile bombs and adrenalines are great friends if you can find’em but when getting to an escape vehicle and the bots are pissing about then is the time to teamkill to save being swarmed or murdered by a special infected

I got this achievement on 360 by myself with 3 AI. They may have aim bot but they are stupid and will let you die sometimes. So it was still an incredibly difficult challenge to get through

I'm having a nostalgic binge of L4D2 and have currently.completed every campaign on Last Man on earth Expert except The Last stand and Cold Stream, still need to do those. Realized half way through j shouldve definitely been doing them kn realism, but thats ok, bc I can do them over again. L4D Is just so fun I'll take any excuse to play it, and working towards an achievement is the perfect excuse! Def had the hardest time with Hard Rain. Tight spaces and water to slow you down against the Tank, but its still sm fun

Hard rain and swamp fever are definitely are the hardest so yeah you definitely should do the hardest campaign first then easiest campaign for last

The "Gib Fest" mutation is another good one, that's how I got it.

I tried beating the official campaigns on expert with the help of the survivor bot addons and it worked

This was helpful but solo is scary so I've found gib fest to be a good alternative. got 3/5 with bots, only hard rain and dark carnival left

Are you playing on xbox or just with an xbox controller?

I got this with not doing the last man on earth. I got Dead center with 1 random guy who joined either from the start for middle of the campaign and we did it pretty well but the funny thing is that the guy said the last game he played is the same map with 3 other people and they lasted for 2 hours but me and him win under 30 mins of the last part. Dark carnival is the hardest one in my opinion and its all because of the barns, I don't have that much memory with that but it was a relief that is over and I got the achievement after that. I don't remember that much on my play in swamp fever but I remember having a clean no down run with my own or with 1 random guy, when we got to the finally, the guy gtg and im by my own and then 2, people joined and I make a bet if we finished the last part we finish but if we lose we restart, I have to restart and still survived to the end. I forgor what happened in both The parish and Hard rain but I think they are also multi.
