St Michael's Hospice offers a variety of services which includes Spiritual Support, Wellbeing, In-Patient Unit and Bereavement. Loreta, a beauty therapist from Little Common, spent some time on the In-Patient and made a long-lasting impact on the Hospice employees. Mike, Loreta's husband, shared some of his kind thoughts with us.

Thank you so much for this video - I have been given only 5 months to live and first of all that was a great shock - I knew it was a nasty cancer but I didn't realise my life would end so soon. I live in the Hastings area and my oncologist is brilliant - she has already put me in contact with St Michael's; that is a tremendous reassurance for me - re-enforced by this video. My mother died in a hospice in London - St Christopher's - and they were brilliant too. Thank you St Michael's Hospice.
I would so love to be a volunteer at the hospice,the hospice looked after my dad so well and I can't thank them enough. I've done bits and bobs over the last five and a half years to say thanks for all your support and help in looking after my dad.just wish I could do something more regular but unfortunately with having a family and having to work long hrs and six days it's not possible at the moment.Hopefully one day I can do more 😊. The man in this video was always so kind to me when I would come to my counciling sessions always had time to chat to me. THANK YOU CHRIS 😊 and to the HOSPICE XX
