Hi, I just watched this video as a second of yours in a row, and I loved it. However, I was a little disappointed to see that after an exciting ending, there is no summary. Is the location of Kellogg's Hill correct? Where exactly the spring is? You could include coordinates or pinpoint the spring in the end of the video. I am an OpenStreetMap enthusiast, so I was looking there for those locations, and they aren't included at any modern map. From your story, I assume that the location of Kellogg's Hill was correct, and the spring is somewhere around 42.451613, -72.544527 based on shade relief, but I really missed the summary of this story. Maybe you could answer in the comment about those things?

It's Newport. Most of these landmarks are still accurate. A lot of the mansions on Bellevue became academic buildings at Salve Regina University (where I earned my MA in 2008).

Very cool tour. I liked the part where you found the church and the clock, as well as the interaction in the library. The part which bothered me a bit, was where you kept going backwards and forwards on what was and wasn't there anymore. I'd rather would have liked you to just read the book verbatim and then showed the thing as if we were really in 1937.

So the whole deer bezoar thing is actually a traditional European medicine thing, dating back to the Middle Ages. It was the activated charcoal of its day. It’s mentioned in Harry Potter. Europeans preferred goat bezoars, the colonies preferred deer bezoars. It’s supposed to be used for poisons and venoms. So if they think rabies is like the venom of a snakebite, then of course they’d think a bezoar would work. Once I saw “one bite means death,” I immediately knew it had to be rabies. Skunks, raccoons, and bats are the prime vectors of rabies. It’s STILL 100% fatal (only 4 cases people recovering in history). What should terrify you is that antivaxxers are now spreading and are now shunning rabies vaccines.

Just so everyone is aware when travelling: Synagogues will generally not be open to the public and really don't like to be filmed due to the prevalence antisemitic attacks. This is the case in most of Europe and North America. The exception is generally if they are historical, publicly maintained structures with no active community. The same often goes for Jewish cemeteries.
