Demondrae has made me re-think my rankings of all the brass instruments... I almost want to say that I like Euphonium even more than my own instrument, the trumpet.
Excellent!
I was brought to actual tears just by listening to this for a band assignment. I didnt know how truly beautiful a euphonium could sound until now.
Great piece

If I had a penny for every time I’ve watched this
本当に素晴らしい。 ユーフォニアム奏者の端くれですけど、この曲の存在、Demondraeさんを今回初めて知ったのが恥ずかしいです。 本当に素晴らしいです。
Just found this, i like the energetic yet hopeful (and kinda sad?) tone of the song.
it is like a normal lunch! marvelous!
Beautiful balance and arrangement!
As a euphonium player hearing this over and over again, it makes me want to master this piece. I probably will never sound as refined as the Demondrae Thurman given the years he has over a young and naive man such as me, but I'll hopefully be able to play this one day.
A great performance Demondrae
Great video production of an awesome concerto! So happy to see (hear) there's a great orchestrated version now. :)
Band is a poor choice to support such a fine player
Euphonium solo with band accompany - NOT band solo with euphonium accompany - band needs to play quieter so that the intricacies that the soloist is playing can be heard in all detail
Me (a trombone) and my brother (a trumpet) using this to try and decide which instrument sounds prettier It's the trombone
Will never get tired of this piece. Especially when Demondrae Thurmans on it.
As the composer of an orchestral euphonium concerto (way back in 1987), I just love to see such wide exposure for a virtuoso euphoniumist playing with an orchestra. It's so rare, sadly. Kudos to the composer and the orchestrator for creating this wonderful showcase for the instrument, and of course to the great Demondrae Thurman. I was especially happy that the editors kept in all of the audience applause - it means everything to composers, who are usually out of the spotlight.
I love this piece!
Who is this trombone player? wonderful !!
What a wonderful concerto ! As an euphonium player, I truly love this piece and its interpretation by Demondrae Thurman. So inspiring and a great source of motivation to be able to play it. Thanks a lot !
Does he have the Edwards harmonic brace on his Shires?
Amazing
Beautiful music 🌹❤️🎺
Awesome!!
整個帥翻了,過癮!
Why are they not using Spit Diapers? The floor in front of them must be a gross mess.
99.9 percent of what comes out of the "spit" valves is actually condensed moisture from their breath, in other words, distilled water. Cleans up easily.
@@gbeachy2010 still gross
This is also a pretty covid performance so that wasn't even a thought at the time
He deserves way more attention. He is very much on par with Steven Mead, Bastien Baumet, David Childs and Anthony Calliet!!! This kind of virtuosic playing shouldn't be kept from the world!!!
He is the best United States Euphonium player and so humble about it!
This is so good, and for some reason I envision some tallanted marching band playing this in contest! And no I’m not referring to my former band!
beautiful high E at the end
(For myself) 09:23 for Movement II 17:30 for Movement III This is an absolutely incredible performance of a fantastic work. Bravo to the composer and performer
Great work! Congratulations!
