THE SUNSHINE COAST LINE, WIVENHOE & WALTON
Просмотров 347 часов назад
A day trip from Norwich to Walton-on-the-Naze via Wivenhoe in Essex All in all it was an 11 hour trek via Colchester , but, given the amount of yellow paint in Wivenhoe, it would have been impractical to do it by road (and it would have been rude not to make the point of trying out the landlord's finest at the Black Buoy and The Rose & Crown). I really felt for the health care professional lugg...
RAF COLTISHALL : A PAST DUE VISIT

It has been a while, some 60 years, since we made it to the flight line. Good to see aviation heritage at its best.
THE RIVER TUD

You may well ask .... never heard of it until last week and it's only 3 miles from the studio. Had to investigate !
CAMERA V SMARTPHONE

We had to do this comparison at some stage so here it is. Going forward, we will rig this up to make it user friendly ( next clip ) and then we will roll it out into production scenarios
A WINTER PROJECT ( RIVERS & LIQUID HISTORY )
Просмотров 1021 день назад
This is an engagement video for RPS members of the East Anglia Documentary Group to come on board with the 2024 Winter Project. Although the River Yare is not actually the river which flows through Norwich, it deserves comparison as, like the Thames, it runs up to the city from the North Sea. RPS Members - Please contact the Group Sec if you wish to take part.

07JUL2024 RAF WEST RAYNHAM MEMORIAL ASSOCIATION OPEN DAY
It was my first time to call at Felixstowe on Aug. 10. And I had a great liberty call, cruising around the town near the harbor. Gentle people and wonderful atmosphere absolutely attracted all crew on YM Evolution. All of us look forward to calling at this fabulous place next month.
Seafarers are always welcome on the East Coast of the UK
Love to hear a bit of the historical history that train was modeled after. It's name, it's yrs of operation and where did it run? It was a really great looking train, like it was built for speed.
She is a smaller version of a Nigel Gresley Pacific 4-6-2. You can check out the operators at RHDR.ORG.UK and the Davey Paxman Company on Google ( became part of MAN Germany who closed the plant in Colchester ). The colour is LNER Apple Green. She was indeed built for speed as she is a shrunk Flying Scotsman
I just subscribed to your RUclips channel for your support for you from me.
Many thanks for the support

@@39iMAGES Thank you; I have 5 hours left in the mountains that afternoon to be able to see him leave; as I have a bad cell phone and I am very far away, I could not record the cargo operations well.
One of the physics teachers at my school had been a navigator on the Javelin and ejected twice. One he admitted was his fault - he steered it in to a hill.
oh dear !! but clearly now a member of the same club as my dad ( run by Martin Baker : who run a database of ejections - google Martin Baker Tie Club ) .
Who are them?
These images are from an old family album of my mum and her family. The photographs from 1936 are on film, small and deteriorating … so this was a way to preserve after digitisation. Over the next few months we will revisit where they were taken and update the clip
Back in the day when we had a World class aviation industry and a proper RAF
How true .. applies across the services .. this week saw an article that we have more than 1 Admiral per ship !!!
!Nice video. Super!
Thank you! Cheers!
Fantastic stuff, thank you for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it
It looks a bit like the Grandfather of the Tornado...
Very true and being a small child walking around the flight line with my Navigator dad at RAF Coltishall ( as you could in those days ) the aircraft seemed massive ... nowadays, if you can find one, not so much ( there is a static at the Norfolk & Suffolk Aviation Museum )
I saw the actual thing! It was actually quite dark at the near end
An interesting performance and some interesting footage overall ! Thanks for the comment
No problem :)
Nice vedio!!And I saw other more cost-effective ways to buy train ticket with a 5% off discount!
Great 👍
Where's Alan partridge.x
I think I spotted him up at The Forum where Radio Norfolk is based .. could be wrong :)
Fantastic Richard 👏
Tks .. good to meet in person .. beer next time !
Got my ticket!
good oh! more the merrier .. they do a great job !
It's great that you are keeping the memory of these brave people alive. I worked in East Anglia for 25 years and the area is dotted with memorals to these brave airmen. The memorials are kept in superb condition but are not always easy to find, as the airfield they once flew from has long been converted into farmland or housing. The people of Britain are ever thankfull for the sacrifices these brave American airmen made.
We are very fortunate that The American Memorial Library at The Forum are so supportive. This year is probably going to be the last year the Heritage Groups come over from the USA ... but I suppose it depends on how much additional interest Masters of the Air generates. Thanks for posting the comment.
Una bellissima coppia di gazze! ❤❤❤
E ANCHE MOLTO AMICHEVOLE
Reject degeneracy
PS I like the "tongue in cheek" title - Not Just Bristol!
One has to try ( to get something back :) )
Thanks for sharing your exhibition images.
My pleasure!
Did a flight out of Seething 8 years ago with C172. Present airfield size is merely a fraction of it's otiginal size. Nice museum in the control tower. Definitely worth a visit by rosd or air.
Flown a light aircraft over here. The original runway and perimeter track is very clear from 1000 ft. Lot more difficult to trace former airfield during 2 ground visits. Nice war memorial.
I was there on the Saturday was a brilliant day
Day by the seaside .. couldn't agree more and bringing money to the town to boot !
✋ 'Promo SM'
No one cares, just don't get upset when yall get bombed like the Boston marathon
Hell yeah us LGBTQ democrats will never repent from our sins . These republicans going around with their Jesus religion telling us to get right with God , we will not do it. Us LGBTQ democrats dont care about righteousness and holiness . Jesus teachings are white surpremist and racist only people who listen to Jesus teachings are Republicans and people like them . Us LGBTQ with get rid of Jesus and his bible from the face of the earth . Us LGBTQ democrats will stop that King James Bible with Jesus and these Christians from ever existing from the earth
I like Wymondham
really do appreciate the support .. guess you like trains too !!
@@39iMAGES yes
I like Beccles
and for this one
I like King's Lynn
great stuff .. thanks for the support
Loved the show, but no sign of any hunting, shooting and fishing and way way overpriced. Stung for parking as well.
Always struck me as odd that the parking was not included .. its like ordering beer without a glass
That's super cool
Thanks .. although it is a tad expensive to ride. Certainly worth it if you are ever in the area
wait how was there a mosquito? the only one flying is in america
this one only does ground runs as it is not certified .. still sounds good ! lincsaviation.co.uk ' mosquito ' is the go to page
Cool vid man
Cheers .. thanks for the feedback
nice clear vidio capturing norwich in a pleasant way thanks x
I am hopeful that we will see further projects later this year. The RPS East Anglia Documentary Group will be running a one-day Exhibition at The Forum in Norwich 16APR2023. Hopefully get some images posted.
Great to see the memories of these Airfields being kept alive. Many thanks.
The Royal Photographic Society East Anglia Documentary Group is considering doing a project on the Big Week 80th Anniversary in February next year. If it 'takes off' you can find it here. Many thanks for your support
Those are absolutely gorgeous locos
That's the life
Great video 👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks Pameli
What a great day and nice to see you guys out there having fun, Littlejohn Eastpoint1 cox
It was a great summer all round .. must come to Lowestoft more often. Will certainly be back in 2023 and thinking around dawn 21JUN ( to go into the diary ) I think you guys kind of celebrate the pagan days as much as we North folk Thanks for the support
You keep cutting it before everyone has paraded past
Noted .. but the guy who taught me ( ex BBC ) made the point that you should not have continuous content and the clip length should be 120 to 180 seconds. This is the longest ever I have put together ... so already breaking new ground ( as far as I am concerned ). Additionally, this took almost an hour to render so probably going back to the 2-minute clip. Thanks for the input.
Would be a nice video without this disturbing music…😐
mr,thank you, total supeerb view- talk you later~🖐

Not a patch on the Victory Show in Leics
you going ? you going to post ? we were meant to get the PB2 but presumably went tech as it was withdrawn on the day (and we had Sally B last year). Given that this was all shot on a DJI pocket 2 I've been down to wex for something with a bit more zoom :)
Tolles Video...schreckliche musik
aber es ist kostenlos
Genau!
What a rubbish video of the Smack race, more footage of bow waves and sea than of the yachts taken part.
As always, your choice if you watch it or not. Given that the chase vessel had to keep clear of the competitors, and this was shot on a Go Pro, kind of difficult to come up with anything which was not just a dot on the horizon. Thank you for your support, even if it is a tad negative.
@@39iMAGES And very respectful you were as well to the competitors on the day.....considering on how choppy it got in the afternoon you did well to grab what footage you did.
Great video. Thanks for sharing. Was that taken from a GoPro (or similar)? Did you lose a cover? If so, we have it.
Thanks chaps .. shot on a GoPro Hero 9
Not my cover ... thanks !
Ew 🤣
what did you just SAY?! EW?! HOW DARE YOU! THE FLYING SCOTSMAN IS ONE OF THE BEST THINGS ON EARTH! *pulls out rpg*
@@thematthewexpress5999lol it's nice... but it's not the nicest
