*All the students I met in Maastricht were extremely satisfied with their life in the city & their studies!* Maastricht has about 125 k inhabitants, but almost 30 k students, most of whom live in the center and therefore close to the university. Therefore: extremely many contacts, events, pubs and restaurants for students. Studying in NL (& Maastricht) is very interactive: you work, learn and present a lot in small groups. On the other hand, there are relatively few face-to-face lectures in almost all subjects.
