Thanks for the video and congratulations for the game. It's very funny!
Thanks 🙌
Too much to memorize. I need a rewatch lol
Question if i play the heart 13 spaces and I’m in my home area can I move my piece 13 spades from the home area or just move it to the heart space? Also can it be split with other piece?
Hi, with the 13/heart card you can only do one or the other. So you can either move a piece out of your home base and into your heart space OR you can move a piece that is already on the board 13 spaces forward (assuming it is possible to do so).
Replay this and I win I promise
We plan to run it back so be ready! 👊
Looks like another epic tournament! Great winning reactions 💥🔥
Yes, it was a blast! 🙌
Really really love your game. Has brought many fun hours 😊. One question. If red player has 2 pawn in yellow heart space, does this block yellow from Enter a pawn to the game? This happens in a game for me once 😂 the colors is just an example
Awesome to hear you're loving the game! That situation actually cannot happen because you do not count the heart spaces when moving around the board, only numbered spaces. Hope this helps!
Oh nice. Thanks for the answer 😊
Hi Can players play individually?
Hey why in 4:17 you forfeit your round??? I can put one card and wait for opponents to play maybe i get chance to play my other cards?
Hi, the rules are that if at any point it is your turn and you do not have a playable card on that turn, then you must forfeit your whole hand for the remainder of that round.
than you@@partnersboardgame
Hi i have a problem If a player (yellow player for ex) has 2 pawns in the heart space and has a change card and he take one of this pawns and change it with opponents pawn. So now we have a yellow pawn with an opponent pawn in the same place in the heart space . What will happen now? Is the opponent go home or what?
Hi! You cannot swap any pawn in the home base, the heart space, or the finishing bubbles. You also cannot swap a pawn if it is sitting on a space with more than one pawn on it. So that situation cannot happen. Hopefully this helps!
Wow I did not know this game is out in USA.👏🏻😁 The guys who invented and produce the game are great guys. I have spoken with at the tournaments here in Denmark, and great to see this taking of “over there”. Lets hope for a world championship in a few years! 😁🎉
Yes, they are awesome guys, very cool that you've had the pleasure of meeting them and participating in the tournaments in Denmark. There will certainly be a world championship and hopefully sooner than a few years 👀😁
I haven't played the game Sorry in years, but this game seems similar, perhaps with a bit more strategy.
Question.. if I have 3 cards.. I m obligated to play the other 2 before the hearts ?
We may need some more context to provide the best answer for you but if you have three playable cards you can play any of those cards when you would like. You do not have to wait to use other cards if you have a playable heart card in your hand.
Is there a space for follow up questions not covered in the rules?
Hi! Yes you can send us a message through the contact form on the website (www.partnersboardgame.com)
Got one more rule clarification. What happens when you play the -4 card and your pawn is at one of the first 3 tracks after the start field. Do you revers into the home zone or back just skip the start zone field an revers to 15 and further? Example. Blue player is at the yellow 2 besides his start field, and plays a -4. Does he end up in the green 12 or in the second to inner home field?
Hi Jone, You would reverse to the 14 and further. So for example, if you were on the 2 space directly in front of your heart space(start zone) and you played the -4, you would land on the 12 space (the one that is approaching your finishing bubbles).
Trouble
Close to the game called Pegs and Jokers
brilliant
Thanks for the explanation! Super helpful
No problem! Thanks for watching.
Awesome board game and great intructions video ! I have question regarding the card with a single heart on it. Can that card be played even when you have all your pawns out of home base ? For example playing this card in this situation would basically allow you to do nothing for that turn which can provide a strategic advantage in some situations. Looking forward to your answer 😃
Thanks Andrei, we really appreciate that! Love your creative and strategic thinking with this question! However, it is not allowed to "play" a heart card when all pawns are in play since you are not actually using the card - only tossing it away. Sorry for ruining your strategic master plan but credit for thinking outside the box ;-)
we're playing the 4-player version for some months now and it's amazing! But now I wanna buy the 6-person variant. Is there anybody who knows where to buy this?? Thanks in advantage!
Hi, if you send a message to info@partnersboardgame.com with your interest there might be some hope for you!
Hey. Any can tell me the difference between 4-6 player rules expect for new cards? Preferable if you can link to a video
Hey, I have a question about finishing zone. We encountered a very specific situation: 1st position filled and locked 2nd position free 3rd position filled 4th position filled last pawn in home, unable to to get him in play. What moves can the player play? Can the pawn just bounce between spaces with any even cards? Or does the player need to forfeit his hand and wait for 1 or maybe 2 card? Thanks, and also thanks for the video, very well done
Hi Stepan! We are glad you enjoy the video. This is a very tricky situation. Since you can't move the pawns back as they are blocked, in this case you need to forfeit your hand and wait for a 1 or 2 card. Hopefully your partner can help you out of this mess next round!
Just played our first game!! My team won!!
Congrats! The other team might want a rematch soon - so be ready!
Can you pass another opponent if there are two pawns of the same color? I know if you land on that space you get eaten and you can’t pass an opponent’s pawn if it’s in the heart space but can you pass two pawns on the same space?
Yes, you can pass two pawns of the same color on the same space. We hope you enjoy the game!
It’s just sorry
1) All games are derivative from previous games to some extent. It’s called evolution. 2) You clearly haven’t played Partners (or Sorry) if you think these games are remotely the same.
@@theballmittpodcast5734 This game and Sorry aren't remotely the same..They're exactly the same! 100% rip except the price tag is 4x that of Sorry
Can you finish and win the game with a 7 card without doing all seven steps?
No you cannot. You must finish the game with the exact number of steps that lands you in the last finishing zone space.
Hello😊 in partners 6 players..have i interpreted the rules right that you can use card 2 on your partner when both are in the game?
So what is the game actually about?
Hi Deane PARTNERS is a 2v2 game where the winning team is the team to get their pawns first into the safety zone. Players use cards to move around the board and have to help their partner while at the same time sabotage their opponents. It requires teamwork, strategy and a bit of luck. Happy Gaming!
All I could do was focusing on that bombshell of a girl :-)
I have been waiting this video so long. Thanks! One question : when you are going to the safe zone in the end, you dont need to count the heart space?
No problem, our pleasure! Correct, when entering the finishing zone you do not count the heart space. You go straight from the 14 space to the first finishing zone bubble.
I wasn't aware that the heart space didn't count as a space once out in the game, so my family and I have played it a little wrong so far... Never the less, Thank You for explaining the game in the video - makes a lot more sense than previous videos I've seen. Watch out for Partners+, a fab 6 player version 😁👌🏻
Thanks for your message. We are glad this video has been helpful to you as you enjoy playing Partners!
we love this gameeeeeee!!!!!
I’m still confused with card 7, so you only can share card 7 for your own pawns (same color pawns) UNLESS you are about to arrive on the home bubble then you can share with you partner? At the moment we always share card 7 with our partner..... Looking forward for some clarification. THANK YOUUU
Hi Tanti! Thanks for your message. You stated it correctly in your question. You can only use the 7 card to move your pawns, not your partner's pawns. The only exception to that is if you can lock in your remaining pieces using less than the 7 total moves, then you can use the remaining moves to move your partners pieces. Does that help clarify?
@@partnersboardgame Got it!!! Okay thank youuuu. Owh one more thing, the video you demonstrate that the 7*1 card used for 3 pawns, the blue as your own, and 2 yellows (your partner's) so the card can actually be used for more than 2 pawns? as long as the moves are putting the pawns (your own and your partner's) inside the bubble? At the moment we thought we can only use the 7*1 card for 2 pawns max.
@@vulnicuravulnicura5587 We are really glad you are enjoying the game! You can use the 7*1 card to move any amount of pawns you would like, as long as you move 7 spaces total. So yes, you can move more than 2 pawns. (But same rules apply as before in that you can only move your pieces, unless you can lock in your remaining pieces using less than the 7 total moves, then you can use the remaining moves to move your partners pieces.)
@@partnersboardgame Thank youuuuuu for the swift reply.....
@@partnersboardgame hi, when you use 7*1 to enter a "house" ad a 3rd position and if you have another figure on board - does this consider as a lock or you can enter "house" and exit without locking that pawn?
My favourite game for nights with friends! LOVE IT
Great video! Can’t wait to play this game with the lads
