It looks brilliant! I haven't got a 3D printer (yet) but I have thought about using a model of an elephant as a base for a Bantha, considering that it was portrayed by one in the movie... I really enjoyed watching, you're a natural presenter! However I found the background music interfered with your narration and isn't needed IMO. I hope you get a lot of subs, you deserve them!
Thanks for very much, and thanks for the feedback on the music- I’ve been back and forth on that, perhaps I’ll try dropping it down in the mix or finding something less intrusive 🤔 👍 An elephant would be a great base and very suitable bearing in mind the origins 😃👏👏 I guess you’d have to do some modelling with something for the face but the bones of it would be perfect 🤩

@@davidedge2828 ha! You got it my friend, the Capt Antilles was my first custom. The bamboo printer is great- so easy to use right out of the box. The thrill of printing your own toys (albeit slowly) is great 😊 resin printing seems a bit toxic for me though- maybe if I had an separate workshop. Perhaps one day!
@@CraftyPadawan-gh2ou To me, the thrill of saving the majority of £350 I paid for an Endor Bunker and the Bounty Hunter platform by giving it to another person so they would print it for me, would definitely be the highlight!! 😀 😄 👌

For crying out loud, get that Sdcc Boba in some acrylic!! I paid about £110 for mine then treated it to a £2 cheap foldable acrylic case from Star Action Figures because I'd spent "all of the money" on the bloody figure!! 😅😅 My idea is now to find someone who didn't put their Sdcc Boba in acrylic and has knackered the card, so is willing to sell it to me for 30 sheets so I can have one loose as well! Another excellent video and top custom.

What a bloody triumph!! I wrote the above message half way through without seeing the end result. The hair braids were nigh on spectacular. I was hoping for something I could do or follow, but there's jack-shit chance of that! I'm pretty handy kitbashing figures and a little artistic, but I'm not in this league unfortunately. Great job and I loved watching this. Thank you.

I think you be surprised about painting faces, I’m not sure it’s as tricky as people think- it takes me a while but if i can do it I’m sure anyone can! 😊 I think the key to the sisters is the hair and makeup shades so probably kit bashing is also very possible to get cool results 👊

@@gaileybruce ah thanks. I started on the legs because of how the fur layers needed to sit on top of each other. But agree it’s often best to start on less interesting areas. Doing a duo for next video and have finished bodies before doing the more interesting work of heads 😎👍 thanks for the comment

Well done! Thanks for the mention and glad it helped you. You did great, just keep those paint layers super thin, blend them until dry with a flat brush and/or let them air dry a bit, as they change quite a bit as they dry, so you kind of need to see what the paint is doing before ploughing on, hiding what's going on and layering more paint on top, so that would be my tip. I do a lot more brush blending nowadays, as if I recall, Brad Pitt was more wet-blended. Check out more of the Lifecolour/Andrea Colour videos to see that in action and Last Cavalry TV YT channel, helped me to use more flat brush dry blending in my painting with acrylics. Came out well though, with a greta personalised version of the figure.

This is why I passed on this set, because it didn't come with an optional Sebastian Shaw head! Hell I'm surprised they still haven't pulled the old Lucas switcheroo and put burnt Hayden Christianson in there when luke took vaders mask off!
😂 they love a switcheroo! I only committed to buying this pack when I saw a SS head available online. You’re right though surely they’d have sold loads more with an optional second head 🤷♂️
