Yes indeed, I am having issues with color consistency, even though the color mix is the same. . So it all boils down to pressure , temperature and time

I am having an issue , I will mix a color. 100cyan, 60 magenta, 20 black, in the test the colors came out acceptable. After doing the artwork and sublimating the colors were lighter ! My mug press is at 400 def. 240 seconds press time.. Does over pressing cause the colors to shift lighter. I did use the same pressure from the test I made, please advise

Try these steps if you haven’t done so. 1. Wrap your mug tighter. 2. Increase your heat or baking element time for another minute. 3. Try changing your brand sublimation paper. Hopefully one of these steps fixes the issue. If all else fails you might have to consider replacing your heat element.

I use Epson transfer paper. I am just wondering if the pressure or temperature is too high. Wrapping the up is smooth and flat to surface. I have had issues with tumblers where pulling too tight on the transfer causes the paper to shift it raise.so I am rethinking how to wrap tumblers

Thank you for watching my video and your comment, yes it is used for baking, I gave it a try and didn’t work because it wasn’t made for this type of cup. So I had to rule that option out at the time unfortunately.

It could be from the grip & pressure, you might have the sublimation paper where the grip is not tightening correctly. Try bringing back your print back a little from the end of your mug grip and see if that works. If that doesn’t work then I suggest try increasing your temperature and adding more pressure and hold for a longer bake time but not to long. Hope this helps 🙂

I love it, it’s been so fun to use. I’ve ran into so many problems in the beginning and was frustrated. But these are all learning curves you need to go through in order to develop a skill with your machine. Once you have overcome these obstacles you then recognize the common errors everyone faces with embroidery machines and then are able to keep stitching without skipping a beat and losing material. 👍🏽

Wrap the area as tight as you can and increase your pressure. Make sure your heat element is completely tight around that area to get best results. Hope this helps you 🙂
