I liked my starters - I felt they were quite okay and I really liked my drink and even had it 2ce. I understand its fresh but it shouldn't take extremely long but thank you for sharing 🙏

It’s not personal and I hope you know that and maybe if you watched carefully and listened carefully too you would have heard where I mentioned going to their sister restaurant which was an absolute disaster so perhaps that’s what you’re calling condescending as opposed to me being worried about coming back there again considering the first experience was awful. Anyways this is my review and experience and you can experience yours for yourself too and share with us - not all feedback has to be great and it’s just what it is - nothing personal

First, my intention with this video was not to disparage or bully the establishment but to share my genuine experience as a paying customer. Constructive criticism is an essential part of growing any business, and feedback-whether positive or negative-helps businesses improve and thrive. As much as I celebrate and support Nigerian-owned businesses (and I have countless videos and posts highlighting exceptional local spots), it’s also fair to acknowledge when the experience doesn’t meet expectations. Waiting over two hours for a simple meal, regardless of location, is an issue that any business would want to address for better customer satisfaction. I agree that running a business in Nigeria comes with unique challenges, and I sympathize with those hurdles. However, addressing these challenges transparently is what builds trust with customers. My comments were intended to reflect what many might experience and encourage the establishment to improve-not to discourage or tear them down. Lastly, I understand the comparison to how reviews are conducted abroad, but the goal remains the same: honest and respectful feedback. As someone passionate about supporting the food and hospitality industry and have been doing so for more than ten years, I hope this video can ultimately contribute to positive change. ⁠@@foodieinlagos again I hear your perspective, YET, what was being portrayed in the video speaks different volumes in your reply. Your reply here is what I would have liked to see voiced in the actual video. Your video was demeaning in a way, your tone of voice, your attitude, your facial expressions etc. I get being frustrated with wait time, however your implication of “… or are the restaurants being run for another reason” (your exact words). What are you implying there? That is low blow. Your review was unfair and unkind, in my opinion.
