Where can I find all the info to rebuild these myself? I've got 220k miles on my truck. Got about 3k worth of maintenance to do here soon ( suspension, trans and motor service) don't want to spend the 1k on rebuilt shocks or the $1600 on all new. I bought new shocks 4 years and around 100k miles ago, they're leaking now but the shock body and shafts are in great shape and i know i have the technical know how to rebuild these, i just need all the info.

I would love to see a super in depth tutorial for these from you. Or at least a non-time lapse version

i thought I'd check these screws again after around 12 months and they haven't come loose, but as a preventative measure, i actually used a centre punch and just did a mechanical lock on the screws and the retainer plate. Excellent vid. I keep referring to this vid for transmission tips on my ZX14R.

Hi there! Good job on the kawi but, I must tell you that the loose bearing retainers are not an isolated incident. I have also have a wrecked gearbox because of loose retainers.

Great video thanks. By the way. Did you clean the grease that is in the nitrogen chamber/under the bypass piston? If you did. Did you put new grease?

I think question is can you build a stock t5 to handle a mild built 600hp 383?

ZX14R intake ports are hand ported from the factory.

How much oil do you put in the front and rear shocks?

hey.... i have ninja 300 few days im noticing when i decelerate bike im get clucking noise from front end and near bottom area of engine … but bike has 7k kilometres done and chain setting is within the spec and company is unable to identify… and theres no noise of chain whatsoever… im confused what it could be any idea?

Common issue amongst these T5s. From factory they don't preload the bearings, leaving a little end play on counter shaft and main shaft. 3rd gear is farthest away from any bearing, and with to much torque with these helical gears, they deflect from the end play. Boom. There's a few ways to strengthen these up to handle more power, but not huge numbers. It's why Ford and GM didn't put anything larger than a 5 litre engine in front of them lol

I actually checked these 3 screws yesterday when I checked my clutch. I removed the whole basket, and surprise surprise, they weren't 100 tight. So I cleaned, loctited and retorqued all 3 screws.

Awesome vid mate, I've done a lot of preventative maintenance on my ZX14R, but I didn't check the three bearing retainer screws/bolts when I put in a new clutch and the APE oil pump cover mod . I will be loctiting them ASAP.

The Gen2 14r comes from the factory ported, I thought the same thing when I first got mine.
