Hey Everyone!
My name is Angela and I am currently a first year med student at UCSF. I’m from the Inland Empire in Southern California and I am the first in my family to attend medical school. I went to UCLA for undergrad and I majored in neuroscience and Chicano/o studies. I took one gap year where I spent most of my time working as a scribe for a sports medicine doc and educating patients at my local community health center as a health coach.
I plan to share the ups and downs of med school along with how I try to balance my life with activities outside of medical school. Hope you enjoy! 🇲🇽🩺
