I don't care how silly the game was at times, I was just happy to see Yuna, RIkku and other characters again in a more light-hearted world after the gloomy, hazy shadow of despair & false hope that was Spira's Cycle of Death. It also helps that I did enjoy both the gameplay-after some early frustration due to it being quite a ways different from the prequel- and how the story was more free-spirited. At least at first. Most of all, I fondly remember how it was my father who bought me this game because he had seen how much I loved FFX, even watched me play it despite having no interest in video games, partaking in the story of Spira, Yuna and her guardians, which changed his perspective that games were not mere mindless "Beep-beep" toys that rotted the brains of kids. So when he came home with a copy of this game, we played it together, father and son, from start to finish. Heck, even my mother got involved with this one because of the more fun-focused theme, the trio of lady badasses and-not least of all- the music, especially this very music track right here. Good times. Good times indeed.

the kind of song that will take your hand and encourage decision-making towards a better life in light of all that's been. it just grapples your deepest desires at a sentimental level, it's incredible.

When I was about 8 my Mom bought herself this game, I rarely played the game, instead I would lay on the floor and listen to the Menu. Something about it made me dream of a colorful future, even now many years later I still listen to it to relax and help process the complexity of being an Adult and making Adult decisions.

This game is perfect. The world, characters, and gameplay integrate together to give you a fully immersive experience. Not trying to sound like “that guy”, but being honest, I don’t usually cry during movies or shows or even other games or books for the most part. FFX is a rare exception to that rule, I was so engrossed in the plot, world and characters that by the time this song played during the end credits I realized I was crying as hard as I was. What an experience that has RARELY been replicated. Bravo FFX.
