Does this work with PDFs? Or only PPT files?
as far as I know it only works with a Canva presentation
@@digitalartwithcanva Any way to clickable links like in your video with PDFs? Bearing in mind I want to use Canva. I think you can do this in something like Adobe Acrobat, but I don't have that. And, by the way, a BRILLIANT video, and I wish this was possible with PDFs!!

hi i followed every step from 7:25 but my background image still moves together. even locking dont work. Any reasons why?
did you check your layers to ensure that part isnt grouped to your outer frame... or ...to ensure you are grabbing the group you want to move... go to the layers tab and click on it there 1st to ensure that you are grabbing what you want to move... hope that helps

This is an excellent video and thank you so much for keeping it short and to the point. You even covered the Canva bug that often requires re-applying the setting to all pages. Note that the process of duplicating the picture, shrinking it, making it transparent, grouping, etc. is not really needed - you can just right click and detach the image from the background and it won't snap in place. It's much simpler that way, especially if you're doing it for multiple images. One thing I cannot figure out is why my transition time gets reduced with my image time. I wanted a video-like appearance so that I'm not looking at a static image for very long and I set the images to display for 0.5 seconds. However, instead of nice, slow 2 second Match and Move transitions, they are all reduced to 0.3 seconds now. If there is a way around that, let me know!
you can always change the time of each page to make them longer... if you started your design in a static design space (example: IG post) then at the bottom there is a button called duration, click on that to show the pages with time and change the seconds to what you want from there ( if that makes sense)

was it too light... that can be a draw back with this method... you could also try the gradient method... where you use a gradient the same color a your background to achieve a faded effect

How do I get my screen recording option show up?
you can access it in the uploads tab or the video tab
@@digitalartwithcanva I’ve tried both I can record with the camera but the tv screen that shows at the top right corner I don’t have it, I’ve tried on my laptop and two iPhones, all the apps it won’t show up.i mean for recording the screen so I can edit and record while I’m designing
@@BunnyFogCo are you talking about the box in the upper right corner to pick what you want to record (camera, camera & screen, or screen)? I just checked mine and it didnt show at 1st... then I refreshed the page, and went in through the uploads record yourself and it was there

when you delete a part and remove it the pieces before and after will butt up against each other and you can just download it as a mp4 (if that makes sense)
@@digitalartwithcanva No, mine do not butt up against the others after deleting. then when video plays over those parts sound is not in sync like the rest of video. im beside myself on how to fix
