any fixes for people without this gfx xml file setting? ive done exactly what you do and i am in the same exact folder, but i don't have the xml document file, or anything that says gfxsettings. i am on division 2 by the way, but i've searched for fixes and this is still the only fix for it apparently. i got the game for £30 and ive played about 7 hours over 4 days, the rest of the time in the 4 days, i've been trying to fix this game. ive put a refund request in with steam because idk what else to do, but i have exceeded the hours to be eligible for a refund. my graphics settings all work well on medium, but my resolution always resets itself on every launch. when i set it to fullscreen, the game either does 2 things... it either crashes and completely black screens my entire pc, forcing a pc restart, or it sets the resolution so that a small playable screen hugs my top left corner with the blank spaces being filled by a frozen image of the previous resolution. ive done steam file verification, graphics driver updates, system/disk drive cleaning, i tried starting the games .exe in admin, i've made full exceptions for it in my anti-virus settings, i've tried everything and nothing seems to work for anybody besides this gfx xml method, which i don't have.
