Maybe I'm seeing it wrong but the "start" letters seem a tiny bit more to the left than on the original. Anyway biggest more obvious difference is that they all look a little bit larger and less defined.

Great tutorial i bought an old console for nostaglia and it really needed a clean thank you.

I normally buy used and repair them, and i have a very good eye on detecting fakes, but i got a fake controller that amazed me, they even did a copy of the small plastic parts inside, i was completely blown away by the detail of the fake to the point that they even copied the battery to be grey with hard plastic enclosure, which it already started to look inflated, and not safe as it is a fire risk. The bad thing about the controller are the 3d analog sticks, they are not 3d, and when you move them a little bit they max out very easly. If those 3d analog sticks were more similar to the originals then i would have no problem on using the fake controller, without the crap battery of course.

where to buy analogues for sticks?

I used this video as my PS3 was getting dangerously hot watching blu rays after a few hours, it was noisy too. After following your video I was able to clean all the dust out, which has made it quieter, but there wasn't much dust in it. I replaced the thermal paste (didn't know which one to buy as I can't find anything online about which one should be used) so just bought thermal paste. Applied the same amount as you in the video, but after 4hrs work on it today, the console is still red hot after around an hour of use. It's not any cooler. I don't know what to do with it. A guy in a local computer shop told me to clean the dust out and replace the paste too, and use RUclips videos, and I have..😪

Looks good for my 6 year old nephew even if he breaks it who cares it's really cheap anyway.

I seldomly use my super slim ps3 and a week ago, it's overheating. I suspect it's the thermal paste being dry and I was right. I have never done this on the super slim ps3. Your video help and I'm going to put it in my favorite folder. Thanks.

i fully completely ruined my ps3, after i cleaned everything and assembled it back to together and turned it on and it started to make a loud sound and the screen would not load up, sound was loud coming from the fan and lots of air being pushed out 😔

My ps3 super slim , just recently after about an hour of play ( gta v) the fan goes super loud so I’m guessing its in need of a clean and re paste, hoping I’m not to late🙏.
