Human pancreatic microcyst and duct-β-cell cluster (2nd video; with music, 1080p HD)
Panoramic-to-3D/Airyscan super-resolution imaging of human pancreatic microcyst and duct-β-cell cluster in antifade A-ha polymer (DAPI, CK7 and insulin labeling; Hsiao et al., Nature Communications 2023; Lee et al., Diabetes 2025). Glucagon labeling of α-cells is added to the second part of the video.
The antifade properties of the A-ha polymer enabled the depth-resolved Airyscan imaging, allowing the duct and β-cells to be specified at the cytokeratin and vesicle levels. Note that luminal obstruction can be seen in both examples via the transmitted light signals.
