    Absolutely right and spot on tips, well done. I was printing on a gifted Ender 3 S1 pro and got fed up really quickly having to setup the printer regularly by hand when quality started dropping. When looking into Bambu printers, I quickly realised that all my projects so far could fit into the 18x18x18 cm, even the larger objects consisting of multiple parts exceeding even the Ender 256x256 bed. I got the mini, cuz it's cool, it looks cool and it works like a charm. When I'm ready fro more then 1 printer, I'll get some more A1 (minis) instead of the more expensive ones. I dont need stinky filaments, becasue most of my work are eastetic objects, not construction parts or objects that sit outside.

    Great review and some solid tips, nicely done. 🍻 I have three A1s and a mini and the mini is my favorite. Just an amazing little printer. I didn't have the AMS lite at first, but when I bought one of my A1s, I grabbed it as a combo and added the AMS lite to my mini. I wall mounted it to save the desk space and I'm glad I added it. It's been great to have four filaments ready to go.

    Very cool video! One question though: would it be possible to just replace the fan blade assembly and still see better noise results? You wiring job looks great and was obviously a tonne of work, but maybe it's possible to swap just 1 part instead of all of the stuff you needed to do for the board fan?

    @nuggetinclusive I like this videos, thanks, I’m trying to decide if I buy another p1s, as you know will be mostly the noise, so I’m thinking in the A1 to use the same bed, but know I’m thinking in the a1 mini thanks to your video, but why to choose the a1 mini over the a1?

    • @NuggetsInclusive
      @NuggetsInclusive 17 часов назад

      For me the price. can almost buy two a1 minis over a a1, which i would recomend. two a1 minis aspeed up prototyping by alot :) and really i dont need a bigger bed than 180mm most of the time. i do think both a great choice tho.

    The chamber fan is mostly for keeping the temperature of the chamber low. You could just get away with the keeping the fan off and removing the top glass or opening the door. Alternatively, you can print a top glass mount that allows you to slide open for venting. But there are downsides like slightly increased motor noise and smell. But great video though. Will consider trying out the design when I need it.

      Just use a screenrecorder which is also easier than filming the screen :) But whatever microphone you use it's quite good, usually people with smaller channels forget how important audio quality is.

    I chose a quieter 3D printer over print speed and then i put a larger nozzle on it since i don't need to print fine details. I just print at 0.4mm layer heights to get print times down. Most of the annoying noises i hear are from everything else other than the fan.

    Also put some foam and a tile underneath, "CNC kitchen" has a video about it. It helps so so much with sound. I did it myself a week ago and now I barely notice my p1s in the same room

      I was going to actually print the hula feet. to isolate the machien abit from the table! but maybe i have to compare with a slab and foam. i think i have some slabs of brick for my pizza oven lying aroudn and some foam. I appreciate the comment!

      @NuggetsInclusive the slab does perform better than those feet, there's a table with comparisons in his video. Let me know your experience if you do it!

    New fans spin slower, which leads to most of the noise reduction. Turning the stock fans down gets you most of the way there (for free).

    Nice job! I saw someone do a similar modification on a Flashforge 5M, but they removed and replaced the back panel with a 4 (maybe 5?) piece replacement which they printed out to accommodate the new fan position. I think they might've added a raised lip to the fan shroud for the ability to attach duct work in case they wanted to vent it outside.

    • @NuggetsInclusive
      @NuggetsInclusive 4 дня назад

      I appreciate it! I think it would be pretty easy to attach a duct. But i don't have the window close to my printer to test that :)
