Thank god for this video!!!
These plugs are the best!
Just the tip! ❤
Love your 10 whites! And these plugs are a huge part of it!
Thank you Jerry!
Thanks
What is the base metal of your banana plugs?
brass
@@bluejeanscable7214 Excellent, thanks!
@@bluejeanscable7214brass....are you having a laugh ?
Very cool
Thanks for the review. But I couldn’t stop laughing through the whole thing. 😂
Lot of that’s what she saids in this video
I just added these to my LCR speakers and AMP sides and find them better than any other method and you know you have the best connection (not inviting the bare wire argument).
Love the ultrasonic welds too.
Do you carry/sell the dual plastic bridge plates to hold better together?
I've bought 16 of the similar locking banana plugs and a few of are already broken after short use. The issue is that many 5-way speaker binding posts deeper into 4mm hole (for banana plugs) have some sort of a cavity with increased internal diameter. And when you tighten the locking banana the end if it's barrel opens too far. That excessive spreading often causes deformation and permanent damage to lamelle(s) because an alloy used to make those bananas is quite brittle.
wow thanks
If you have speakers that are biwireable but you only have one set of speaker wires and have the bridge plate in place. My question is if it is better to connect the one set of speaker wires to the low-frequency or high-frequency posts? I have always connected to the low-frequency post given that bass response requires more power than treble, so, my thinking is any reduction in signal strength going over the bridge plate should have less of an effect on the treble than on the bass response. I am curious to know if you all agree or have a different perspective that i may not be considering.
What is the largest diameter of wire that can be used with this connector while still having room to secure the set screws AND allow the collar piece to screw in place? I have 12/4 speaker wire and I'd like to combine two 12 AWG wires into a single locking banana connector. If my calculations are accurate, two 12 AWG wires combined is equal to a single 9 AWG wire thickness. If the Blue Jeans locking bananas support at least 9 AWG wire then I should be good to go. Thanks.
Ahhhhh! I thought the pins screwed into the speaker like tail light bulbs. Thanks for the video.
