Was there Sept. '88 to Nov. '91. Near the north entrance to the arcade was a great little place, the 'Curry Tiger'.. best curry anywhere! There was also a fantastic little Italian place, can't remember the name, but great innovative seafood pizza. That overpass wiped out lots of storefronts, including Janome Sushi, my home away from home. Called up my old roomie and we still laugh about walking the mall during Christmas and some clothing store had a mannequin of Jesus wearing Levis and 'Jesus Christ is coming to town' on the loudspeaker. Laughing now thinking about that

I did notice that the Christmas lighting displays are missing in the ginza.

I hope Japan opens the border soon, I miss walking the ginza. I have not been there since December 2019.
