Most clubs have copyright protections on everything, they will drag you to court on any given occasions, and bleed you to death, like the government. Let's talk about the "lifestyle". Back in the days, yes the lifestyle was genuine and appealing, free men with few rules riding free, going by the wind with the wind.... What about today?, have you ever even met 1%er's?. All they care is making money by any means, showing up, acting tough, and they get their kicks by scaring the common civilians. The civilians, who they called deadbeats. Nowadays, this lifestyle is more about running dope, extortion racketeering, making money from prostitution, than the genuine love for riding. You may ask, why am I so concerned?, it's very simple. When I was a kid, my best friend's father was a genuine 1%er. He was a kind of legend on the West Coast, a mechanic genius. I have been around these guys, and I would have probably joined the club, but we enlisted n the army instead. Yes, back then, it was different, because men were different, You see, this is the point, the generations shift. Yes, it was amazing for 17 yr kids, to be around these guys. They treated us like adults, cared for us, and gave us experiences and moments that shaped us for life. They were family, the one I never had. I have the most respect for them, they were free souls. Unlike today,They were not professional criminals, they occasionally turned tricks to make a few bucks, to spend on bike and brothers.They didn't take sh~t from anyone, but they never forced their ways on anyone, as long as you didn't do something wrong to them. This is the 1%er's I am talking about. I still remember when the beloved HA came breathing down their necks, telling them they had to patch with the HA, unless. I didn't go well.... I respect the old generations, but the new generations of poseur bikers are absolute filth, their love for money and material possessions, is greater than their love for bikes.

I was raised by a single mother, I’ll never forget the day that we broke down in an old car in a Western Sydney Highway. A police car drove straight past us without a second thought….a bunch of patched up Rebels stopped and got the car started again. It was a hot day and my 18 month old sister was in the back seat and if it weren’t for them we’d probably still be there. That experience shaped up my opinion of both law enforcement and bikies in this country. The reason why they cracked down so hard is because of the influx of different ethnic groups entering clubs creating chaos and focusing more on being in the newspapers than they are riding bikes.

I have more respect for bikies than I do for law enforcement.

I am not a "bikie" and have never aspired to be one but I do have an observation. If a member of a service organization {eg. Rotary, Kinsmen etc} commited a crime, does that effect the rest of the organization? I think not but yet a 1% bike club is targeted as a whole for the actions of one or a couple of members. However to bring things in a clearer light lets look at this. If a member of a service organization commits a crime they will throw his ass out, even though he has earned the right to be in that organization. No brotherhood there. Most outlaw motorcycle clubs I've read about have a different approach. If you have earned the right to wear that patch then you are part of a brotherhood that will stand by you and WON'T throw you to the curb because you have a criminal charge. I don't condone their lifestyle but I do admire the brotherhood.

When you see a cop, imagine about 10 people standing behind him or her wanting the cop to arrest people and suck them into the criminal justice system. The prosecutors, city attorneys, district attorneys, judges, court staff, public defenders, jail workers, probation workers are all in on it. Australia may have some different labels, but it's all the same stuff. The criminal justice machine needs a constant stream of warm bodies moving through the system to maintain their job security. Whether some people or many people get wrongfully screwed is of little concern to them. Job security is king.

I do as always see double standards when a politician open his mouth, making laws that don't apply to themselves! Since the police force have a higher percentage of convicted criminals than the bikies, shouldn't the police be considered a criminal organization?
