a cheap DAC can increase the volume and even quality noticeably, out of context but the voice in this short feels like it has a small lag between left and right ear

You need the apple DAC dongle thing to run them(type C to 3.5mm) or an AMP the DAC will awaken them to ear bleeding levels by itself. I'm sure AMP / DAC will do even more so I ordered the amp for mine today just because of how drastic of a change the simple apple DAC (type C to 3.5mm) was for them. Normal 3.5mm port doesn't supply enough power I'm assuming because of impedance.

fuck steelseries and and razer(i love razer but not keyboard) my wooting 60he which is cheaper has better effects and software has better activation has smaller latency has better rapid trigger and has rap snap and sounds better

The higround one is ass it has super high input latency shit build quality and bad software with broken features plus its $165 for all of that

Considering I’m on a budget I don’t mind the extra work or lack there of; I don’t mind the sound and I usually won’t hear it and as long as I can fine tune the software aspect and not have to deal with it a lot, this will save me a tonne of money

Since the jades have a 3.5mm total travel distance and the wooting software allows you to set the actuation to 4mm what ends up happening? Ive heard that the 4mm actuation still works but im a little skeptical. Im not planning on actually putting the actuation point that high but Im curious to see how the switches react.

Thank you very much for the solid explanation and accompanying visuals! Though I'm still confused--why is this such a divisive concept? If I wanted to prioritize the opposite direction and pressed the corresponding input to make that clear to the game, shouldn't the game just sorta interpret it that way by default? Like would that really be so hard for Valve to implement in the software itself, at least as an option? Or would officially allowing that behavior somehow violate the spirit of the game? As somebody who has never been into the pro scene of any game, it just seems sorta obvious that it better supports what I'd want the game to do by pressing the other direction. ...unless I'm misunderstanding something, and the way it's done with those keyboards might be impossible to replicate in Source 2? I also hear they're taking action against single key bindings that perform multiple actions. I really hope they don't care about my "bind c slot2; slot1" that I slap onto pretty much every Source game because it mimics the Y button functionality I'd gotten used to as a former console player.
