MATLAB G-code visualization

Function of this brief program is to load a sliced stl file in MATLAB. The STL file was originally sliced in Cura. The code has been slowed down on purpose. 26-March-2021 - The code is now on github github.com/naatumach/gcode-visualizer. Its a pretty old code so you might have to tweak it a little and clean it up. You can test it with the test gcode in that repo.

A gesture based CAD interface using Leap Motion. It uses CSG approach, ensemble based classification for character recognition, and switches and gestures for everything else. Now you can get a feel of your model without printing it
Looks Great! I tried it with war thunder and it was awesome
That's incredible! Thanks for trying it on War Thunder too.
Steamdeck
This looks amazing, im going tk have to give it a try!
Do I need an active internet connection to use this after installation?
You do need internet for this to work. But you only need it in the start so that the app can load. After that you dont need internet.
@@vbhvsharma Where can I ask about some further problems I am having?
I think the best place might be to start a discussion on the GitHub page. I can help you there. If anyone else has a similar issue, they will have the solution available for them too. github.com/vsharma-git/virtualHOTAS/discussions
This is really cool!! How long did it take you to build this app and what did you use to build it?
Thanks! It took me about 3 weekends. First weekend was just buttons and sliders, second weekend was adding the phone as a joystick feature, and third weekend was to add game controller (Backbone) support. It's written in Python and HTML, for that I used Visual Studio Code.
@@vbhvsharma impressive!!
only 2 comments ? let me fix that
Hey, V! This is amazing! Subscribed!
Open source Hot ASS can I install in VENV? I'm noob

Hi Vaibhav! Is this code available for download?
Hello Vaibhav, can you share the code with me? I'm working on a final project and trying to detect finger motion and position and I'm very stuck. Please. Email: ricardoperuffo@gmail.com Many Thanks
Hi Vaibhav, Can you share code for me? I'm currently working on my final year project which is searching the method for tracking hand motion. I want to acquire finger position data. Please share me. My email: onghanwei12@gmail.com Thank you ! :)

Dear will you share the function so we can use it
Hi Vaibha, Can you share code for me please?I want to try control Direction Visualization in matlab. My email: ym306581901@gmail.com. Thank you.
Hi Vaiblav, nice work you got there. We are working on a project about leap motion and finger & hand postions for medical purposes. Can you share your mathlab code with us via email? We are trying to animate those finger movements on x, y and z axes like you did. Thank you.
what's the software u used to convert g-code to matlab?
thank u so fucking much!! i was tryna find a video similar to this for days
Very nice work dude. I have found the code on github for getting data from leap motion to Matlab. I m trying to setup everything but i have a lot of problems. This is what i ve done so far: 1) Installed Matlab 2016 with a student license 2)Installed a c++ compiler, the one that matlab suggested me when i typed mex setup for the first time( it said: no c++ compiler found ecec instal a c++ compiler, we suggest this one) 3)copied the folder LeapSdk into the folder matleap_master(the one i ve downloaded) 4) from the workspace when i was into matleapfolder i've typed >> build this is the result, i copied only the first string of the undefined reference to because there were too many Compiling matleap.cpp Evaluating "mex -I./LeapSDK/include -L./LeapSDK/lib/x64 -lLeap matleap.cpp" Building with 'MinGW64 Compiler (C++)'. Error using mex C:\Users\Pietro\AppData\Local\Temp\mex_32498137509069_3052\matleap.obj:matleap.cpp:(.text+0x251): undefined reference to `Leap::Controller::frame(int) const' If i m doing something wrong and u can help it would be very appreciated. I m stuck and cant figure it out because little knowledge of how mex works. Thank you
Hi Pietro I have the aame exact problem...did you solve someway??
Nice visualization. Can you share your code with me please? I have LP controller and I would really like to try this in Matlab :).
Can you publish this function?
Hi vaibhav, Great work. Could you please share the code that would be of a great help. I am kinda stuck trying to develop it for real time animation. you may please share it via email if thats not a problem. Thank you so much
Good design idea. But you may see the size easier if you simply change the camera position.
Thanks. It does have an option of changing the camera position, this somehow made most sense.
Hello Vaibhav Sharma, I'm student and I have project with Leap Motion device. Can u tell me how to used Leap Motion in MatLab?
When i worked on it. I used matLeap.
Hi +Vaibhav Sharma I can connect Matlab and Leap Motion by Matleap Library. I still can not use leap motion in matlab. can u tell me tutorial? Thanks for your help.
Can u share the info he gave to you, i cant figured it out too how to get matleap work
Hi Vaibhav, is it can display of the value XYZ? may you share the code with my email?, I'll try to develop it for real time 3D animation. thank you.
Sure...
Hi +Vaibhav Sharma Good job. Can you share code for me? I have project with Leap Motion and Matlab. I try control robot arm by leap motion and simulation on matlab robotics toolbox. Thanks for your help. My email: ngovannam215@gmail.com
+Vaibhav Sharma can I have the code too? thank you, korjani@gmail.com
