i just brought this and i’m struggling with it ! i’m trying to look at jupiter and i see the black circle in the telescope and a white circle.. im not sure if it’s reflecting the telescope.. but i’m aiming just fine but it’ll be a black circle from the telescope and a white circle ! any ideas ?

I took the lid of the 20M eyepeice and all the stuff fell out and i dont know what order its in please help

Celestron should have included a 25mm Plossl eyepiece instead of the 20mm erecting eyepiece. The Bird-Jones design won't give as good views as one with a parabolic mirror. I would pass on this one.

Am i right in observing that you remove the metal spacer provided with the stand, to lengthen the threaded rod that tightens into the binoculars?

Would it be acceptable to use a tool e.g. pliers to gently tighten the adapter to the stand? As when 'finger tightened' it works itself lose after a period of time.

i tried using this last night to see jupiter. i couldnt see anything using the barlow lense but with the 40 mm i was able to see jupiter but with no details. isnt the barlow supposed to help with the magnification?

I really don't see any use for these super large/heavy binoculars if you already have a good telescope. My rule of thumb is binoculars should be portable and light (50mm objective or less) and any high magnification/larger size objective is for telescopes.

Wasn't working for me. After setting it up, it doesn't show any directional arrows...for me android. s22 ultra. It shows the bullseye and then some number in degrees which doesn't change no matter direction i turn. Even when the moon was just straight up.

Well... it's useful that you told us how to find the collimation adjustment screws - good information (I thought that these binoculars were sealed and could not be adjusted). But... you didn't give any indication at all as to what we are supposed to do with the screws after we find them. How does one actually do something with those screws to tune the collimation? Which screw does what?

I don't know how anyone could possibly use that spotterscope you cannot get your head in there to to see anything , any suggestions?

😳 I have a pair of Celestron 15x70 I just fixed tonight after finding this video. They were in alignment when I got them new but went out of alignment and I thought they were broken. I almost used a hack saw to make monoculars out of them a few times over the years. Now I can see the stars again!
