The chapel was built in 1861. according to the project of the architect Cezars Anikinis (1787-1891). The chapel belonged to the famous Švoinicki family. Its representatives participated in all three uprisings against tsarism. Members of this family are buried inside the chapel. Kazimieras Švoinicki, the builder of the chapel, chose a special place for himself. It was separated by an openwork door carved from iron, decorated with the landlord's initials and a crescent and a six-pointed star - the emblems of Leliva. There was a window in the wall opposite the door. This place was reserved for the coffin. Around - places for candlesticks and people who have arrived. A mausoleum was installed...
