This may be an AI narration, but it is far superior to many live narrators I have heard and have caused me not to listen to the story.
Great fun are these little stories 👍
One of the best stories so far
Great story
Thursday
Thanks for the time stamps.
Lovely story from reality, thank you
I enjoy the narration, and esp liked this story, took me a few days to finish it due to my work/sleep habits but it was worth the suspense, fabulous!! Sometimes a nice, long story is called for, thank you 💚❤️
Bloody silly fairy tale.
Really😂
Awful story awful reading dull emotionless narration.
It’s called AI
Aw I really really enjoyed that story, just loved it! Thank you 💚❤️
It's just monotonic.
Plain old narration without any feeling. A good cure for insomnia. Dull reading. .
I lost money in my calculations when counting & balancing the books once.I was crying & my boss made me go away & have a hot drink & a rest. When I calmed down & redid the balances perfectly, it was a great teaching lesson I never forgot.
AI can’t stand it
I love the stories but please read them through before recording to be sure where the breaks are.
Awesome ❤️...btw bro pls post one story at a time rather than all in one video🙏
Please fix this so it is listenable
We really enjoy these vintage stories! Thank you.
Too bad the AI couldn't do the dialect dialogue, but rather translated it into standard English. An unfortunate oversight... And the way it pronounces the name "O'Ryan" lol! Otherwise quite listenable for a machine reading!
Ai voice is downvote and ban

monotoness AI reading. Boring to listen to. in uk we donot use dollars or elevators
Wonderfully enjoying all your stories please keep them coming thank you
All 3 most enjoyable.
100+ years later print becomes AI. Thank you, I enjoyed it, even tho it is clearly a generated voice.
Glad you enjoyed it, Ai made way for these works to see the light instead of collecting dust
I am loving your detective stories channel , the fact that they are short, it’s absolutely brilliant and the narrator is a joy to listen to very clear . Thank you for sharing them with us.⭐️🥂
Thanks for your support 🙏🙏
Narrator is an at times stumbling AI
Thank you - a beautiful reading and a beautiful voice.
AI or not, it is way clearer and smoother than some of Librivox "volunteer readers". Which are commendable and well intentioned, but sometimes not up to the task.
This story si so full of nonsense, of impossible coincidences, so implausible, so full of holes, that only a female brain thinking of revenge against an ex lover could have written it. I listened at the whole story just wondering how deep it would sink. Electrocuting a Man based on a NON IDENTIFIED body? Really? Pulling dead bodies from a Morgue with no ID? Landlady thinking a different woman is same as one she had seen and talked to many times? Only if they were biological Twins ... which they were not. Oh, but xboth of them were blondes" ....... Gimme a break.
Awesome, keep them coming! 👍👍👍
I just can’t get enough of these!
Wait. Latham had disguised himself. Only Conners recognized him, and Conners was dead. Latham, now burnt and beyond identification, could say "I'm Jerry Garcia. I've got a little band and big dreams". But no. He blurts out "I'm Latham. Career criminal and cop murderer. I'm tired now. Could you come back and imprison me later?"
Paused in minute 2. I'm predicting that John Conners didnt actually die. That he was, in fact, whisked off the train by a liquid metal synthbot from the year 2511. So that Conners could Save The Future. The synthbot used the MIB flash dememorizer to make Conner's conductor pal _think_ that...
Paused at minute 4. Latham, his face and body parboiled, goes on to a lucrative career as a Dick Tracy villain. Or OG Batman villain. Qualification overlap. Just depends on which timeline he's in.
Or the crashsplosion swapped Latham and Conners' personalities because why not. For movie reasons. So after hilarious initial confusion, Conners goes with it. Lets the world and his new bride think he died a grisly, firey death. And goes on, in Latham's body. Acting the criminal. But fighting the Underworld...from within! GANGSTER DETECTIVE!
Actually, now that you mention it, I MAY have missed the April 1922 issue of Black Mask. Or just skimmed a few stories. So this re-view works for me.
😂
Probably the best AI friend. Certainly not as awful as some 🙂 I was having lunch when the first story started but I have an iron stomach 😁
Thanks for really great stories 👍
Thanks! 👍
Ohh I hoped the first story ended better like the man turning out as an accidental hero. Like people believed he return to office because he forgot something and he saved them from robery .
Very good AI narrator ❤
Delightful😁
🤌🤌🤌🤡it's not baby Oil It's GHB it's not traceable in urine and In Blood 🤯😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫
AI isn't as bad as in some channels but I'm afraid it detracts from the story. One is always anticipating extraneous pauses. Close but no cigar.
Dziękuję
As AI goes its really not bad
I do enjoy your AI voice. You are not as awful as some ❤
The writer’s crack about trusting your money to the banks would come back to haunt in about nine years, eh?
Too true. Must have been an awful time after the roaring 20s
great tale!!
To Posh!
Enjoyed, thank you 👍🥂
