They were breed to hunt rabbit , i miss my basset (Mr bougainvillea) ,,(Bogie)..he was very much the same colors as this puppy. You love them well !
She's already huge - bigger than the older dog. She loves to just lay in front of you and let you pet her.
More than one Basset, what a lucky home for them!! Beautiful.
Basset pups are the best. She probably already rules the roost.
She loves to just lay her head down in your lap and let you pet her. In general, their droopy features and long build really make them standout in a way that my family thinks is cute. The older dog in the video is an American Basset that is high-energy. The puppy is a European Basset that's very calm. On that first encounter, the older dog was a little unsure, but they're best friends now.
