Nice one mate looks difficult
Y not just walk around the rock?
Walking is hard
Cutting feet on two slopey crimps is fucking wild 😭 you made it look easy I went to pawtuckaway a few weeks ago and could hardly do v4... First time trying outdoors on my own, it's so much harder than gym climbing!
There's definitely a learning curve to outdoor climbing. It has enough technical differences from indoors that it often feels harder when first going out. Stick with it and you'll gain that outdoor skill set and it'll feel more similar in difficulty to indoor climbing!
Sick beta, got top half too?
Unfortunately no video. I use a hand-toe hook match on the left hand side pull (right hand on jug undercling/side pull), then cross left hand to a crimp knob a few inches below the lip on the arete, match right hand a bit below it, recycle left to bad pinch, jump right hand to the lip to finish. The toe-hook is maintained throughout and cuts when going to the lip. Hopefully this is helpful!
This boulder is in Mountain Project as Hot Heels. Don't know for certain if this is an FA, just going off info from others. Renamed it in keeping with a stand start that was done and the name of the bloc (Overshadowed). Let me know if this has been done before!
Who named this climb 😭💀
Very smooth and controlled. Sick send
Wana climb?
Always!
@ I’m new to New Hampshire moved here about a month ago. Been climbing mainly at Pawtuck trying to make some friends that are motivated.
📛
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Wow first time I've seen footie of this problem, super cool!
Good on you for dropping. No topout is worth potential career ending injury (or even a sprained ankle).
This one felt closer to V6 for me!
Soooooo clean bro
That’s a V4
V2 in my gym!
@@shortyclimbingbeta lol!
Yall are doing a phenomenal job spotting even on a lowball like that, kudos
I gotta have more confidence in the feet on this one - you make it look like butter, but it feels so sketch on the wall lol
great to have some video of this one! beginning so hard 😅 nice work🎉
Hype
Fantastic!
bro this angle i cannot get a grasp on the perspective lol
Haha fair! The wall is about 40° overhung but that's definitely not apparent. The head-on view gives the best view of the holds I think
V12?
Yep, that's the general consensus!
And sexy. That's a rock I wouldn't mind being!
Ya made it look to easy
Very nice LOVE it! Im surprised thats a V6 but its hard to tell from the video those crimps must be a lot smaller than they look. God I miss climbing!
Boooooooriiingg…!!!
Sick dude
We need emotion, celebration at top or something. Video is empty
If you enjoy climbing, then watching the climbing is the content. You may need keys jingling in front of you to stay interested, but some of us don’t
@@Wandeezimo No hard feelings brother, I just have a understanding what makes money on youtube.
@@pirdun100 No hard feelings brother, you were ruined by tiktok
@@PC-vp2cg No hard feelings sister, you have ruined yourself.
Appreciate the feedback! These videos are simply my natural experience, no theatricals or planning, and I try to minimize my edits to maximize the utility of the video. The aim is to provide information on climbs for people, especially shorter climbers, in a nice clean format. No monetization goals here!
Waited to post this until it sat on Mountain Project a bit with hopes of learning if there is any history to this linkup. Seems likely to have been done already. Please let me know if you have any info!
Yeah, try the 'Coral Sea' pitch on Native Son (El Cap) and really get a thrill.
Not sure my C1+ aid skills are quite up to that one yet haha
I think you cheated with the camera angle. This is even steeper than it looks. Well done!
Beautiful ❤
This vid makes the boulder look way taller than 20 feet 😮💨 Nice send!
This is the content I came here to see. The classic V4/V10 banger.
Absolutely heinous crimping damn
Do it for the shorties
What a little crusher
Def v8 with the pad
Maybe! Felt on grade at my height but that's the nature of subjective grades. Regardless, I post consensus grading for ease of searching. A great problem with unique moves for Red Rocks regardless of the grade!
Daaaaaaamn you did it without a pad for 10? Or you took 8 when you did it with a pad? #FlexSpray
Nah, with TWO pads, def v6. That’s how this works, right? But this is really just a sport route, so I took 10d. But pads are aid so… A2 for the integrity of the climb.
@@shangreilacome onnnn those knees aren’t tricky to place, be real, it’s A1
Where the clips lol. Sick climb
Cool
Dang wild
really great stuff man, love this! zuma in utah was amazing to walk to the ravines within the canyons.
beautiful colors and light
Sick!
20 feet of lichen and ice to get!
I used to complain about being 'short' in my climbing your channel has put all that to an end! you are an inspiration! 🎉
Awesome and thank you! Glad the videos are positive for you
Those side pulls look wild. Nice job
That right hand move to the side pull is wild
Fingertips hurt watching it, nice get!
did bro dab on that icicle
Guilty
