@MincLaw Would it help my case that my fiancées ex wife used my instagram (highlights) which is feed from my social profile and uses it by taking screenshots in court. She used highlights from 4th of July with me and my family friends cup shots just to say that we are alcoholics and have drugs in my home which is not true. She also accused me of child abuse at my house which is also a lie, she wants to hurt my family as I have a 1 year old and another baby on the way. She also calls me a prostitute, she’s told it to my mother in law and my fiancée. She has also lied to my step children telling them that I did not graduate when I indeed did and even went to college. She also told her kids that I was the other woman who split her family which is far from the case. She as well tells everyone I am a mistress even on social media. She also used a screenshot from Zillow of our previous home rental to say that we bought the house and she wants white of such. I had an Onlyfans and she found it and sent it to my partner through text that it is such why I am a prostitute according to her. She claims her kids are afraid of me by which they are not, they never listen to me at my house. She also tells them to not listen to me because I’m not their mom. She also made up lies that me and my partner smuggle drugs together which is also not true. With slight info that I just provided do you think I have enough information available for a strong case ?

I have it in a text. I filled out an application for an appliance installer. I was interviewed. I told him some things about my previous employer. He used it against me and didn't hire me. I did not know he denied my application through a 3rd party website. I called the company multiple times to find out about my application. He is now accusing me of lingering around his facility of employment. I walked in and asked his secretary about my application. She said he would get back to me. He never ever did. I left him a 1star review about my experience with his company. He messaged me back and said, "If I do not take my review down". He is going to call all the appliance companies in my state to not hire me and warn them about me. This is clearly Defamation of character. I took a screen shot of his text to me.

How would a person prove "damages" if you don't actually know how the libel comments/ accusations affected you? If people read the untrue accusations online about you and distance themselves or continue the false accusations- how can you account for the damage done. A persons reputation is truly all they have

recently on facebook I asked someone a question "are you right wing?" and facebook flagged me for 'incitement to violence' would that count as social media defamation / political bias from facebook itself?

In Maryland I cannot record someone. I can only record visibly in a public setting but video taping anything audible violates the Wiretap act.
