Officially listened to two albums which contain that fuckass animal sounds toy

im looking forward to oddity, but i gotta say that this reveal trailer compared to oddity's is just night and day in terms of editing and music and tone. its genuinely perfect. oddity's is very cluttered with a lot of slow meandering shots that go on too long. it tries to show a lot but sort of fails at it. with this, they show just enough to get you to understand what they're doing, and the music's shift in tone throughout gives you a feel of the tone while also editing in clips that relate to said tone changing. genuinely great stuff. again tho, not hating on oddity. just my take on the trailers.

Currently beginning my fall down the Brobecks rabbit hole and I just noticed one thing. The Violent Things version of If You Like It Or Not has a couple of lyrical choices that struck me as a bit odd, and it turns out that those lyrics were more - can't think of a better way to phrase it - logical in the demo version. It's like they were intentionally changed to be less predictable? The two that stick out to me are "you just might even like it a bit" -> "you just might even like me to quit" (could've just been changed to avoid rhyming "a bit" with "a bit", but, like, they kept the double "before" rhyme in the first verse) and "I'll flaunt what I got" -> "I'll flaunt what you got". (There's also the change of "takes off her coat" to "takes off her clothes", but that's beside my point). Not sure what to make of it, but it is quite interesting.
