The Apollo 11 Landing 1969 (with Interstellar music)
Просмотров 11 тыс.5 лет назад
Apollo 11 lunar descent and moon landing in HD matches perfectly with the docking scene music from Interstellar by Hans Zimmer. Hand subbed by me in Sony Vegas from the real transcript. Armstrong didn't have a direct mic to Houston so his lines are from the transcript even though we can't hear most of them. Buzz: Neil it's not possible. Neil: No. It's necessary.

Royal Space Force - Daft Punk - Contact [AMV] The Wings of Honneamise

Anime: Royal Space Force: The Wings of Honnêamise Music: Daft Punk - Contact 王立宇宙軍 オネアミスの翼 My first video. Gainax first movie. A very "traditional" stype of amv. No special effects used, just cuts and speed changes. I thought this song and this anime just go together. One of the most beautifully designed and animated films ever. Wish I had time to show off more of the aesthetic scenery shots an...

How true. The current Japan and its harmful fascination with that of the GAE empire has been nothing but a spiritual decline of the nation. The Shinto Buddhist culture is becoming a tourist hub guided by people that do not belong to the land, while enough RUclips propaganda like that of Life in Tokyo exists to propagate more retarded takes to subtly attack the identity and soul of Japan and replace it with a foreign seed. The intelligent reconstruction has broken the back of families. There are more men retreating into their houses as NEETS and becoming resentful of life and people, women are giving up on their own men , some parts due to their NEETdom some part pussification of men by anime and feminism. Thus they have a fertility crisis. They now either shag foreigners or are not having children for career opportunities that are very toxic, accepting new religions which they have very poor understanding of and which, much like Germany, will subvert the interests of their people and culture.

While it seems he understands what was happening around him, much of what he is experiencing sounds like someone who is struggling from the human condition that is overthinking/the self. Purpose is abundant for everyone if thats what they seek. Otherwise simply understanding how the mind works should soothe the soul and relax the over thinking mind. To want and desire in the first place is to invite unhappiness. This moment is enough if you live in it. Unfortunately humans live life worrying about judgement and status.

Poor storm trooper just couldn't take being ruled by another corrupt military based empire. His ideals were just as wrong as ours. Too bad he couldn't forgive himself and find a way to resist the empire without violence. Find something worth living for, or die for something else in vain.

Man's search for meaning--his quest to be part of something bigger than himself and to find his identity through such actions in life and death--this can lead to great good, or evil. For man himself is beyond good and evil--purely a creature hungry for meaning that boasts his aesthetic sense of self-esteem. Yukio Mishima exemplifies this dalliance of light and shadow in his words and in his actions--in his life, and in his death.

One of the few examples of an Ubermensch. In the future, perhaps when humanity looks back at what it has accomplished, it will all pale in comparison to the plentiful wonder and amazement of the oh-so-many combinations of the human experience that have been lived; it will say to itself, "Yes, we have had someone great live like how you describe, and we shall show you who he is." and I do not doubt that, if given the chance, Mishima would do it all over again.

He's right about people wanting to die for a noble cause. The West really peaked in the 90s people became so comfortable that we gradually started to turn against ourselves. Now our societies are tearing themselves apart because people with empty lives are seeking noble causes and dont know where to direct that emotion. So they attack their own society and history.

Look into the lives of any interesting man in history and you find just a normal person, just as vulnerable as the rest of us. Mishima sounds super bad ass for what he says and what he ultimately did, but it was all rooted in his insecurity about his body, his homosexuality, and petty nationalism.

All "great" people are insecure, not everyone can be a God! You might wonder, look at Napoleon where he was rejected by society due to his "foreign" heritage and height, Michael Jackson's father think so low about him when he was young despite the popularity and success that turn the race (silly pun lol) or how King Baldwin IV is a deformed, dying Lepar.

Mishima was truly the embodiment of many right wing “intellectuals”; unable to reconcile his sexuality amidst a changing world where he thirsts for the aesthetics of “traditionalism”. Incredibly intelligent but also eternally dishonest even when expressing very deep and profound truths. Born in the wrong era because under fascism, one only had to commit to the veil of aesthetics whereas in a liberalized and democratized postwar Japan the veil was lifted and the prewar nationalism he hid himself in became a joke, so where else was he to go but a “return to tradition”.
