lol always interesting when people do travel videos of areas in my area(DC metro area and suburbs). As someone who grew up in Northern VA, where Reston Town Center is, I would say its a pretty cool spot for some shops and restaurants, and quite a few people live there also. Unfortunately, its kind of its own isolated thing from DC. You have to take the metro into DC if you want to go, which isn't too bad, probably 40 minutes but still it was initially made for cars. Most first time tourists to the area wouldn't exactly make RTC(Reston Town Center) their destination, this is more like a locals spot so I guess that has its own charm. If you're looking for some night life, RTC doesn't stay open too late, and there's nothing in the way of lounges or clubs if you're into that sort of thing. There are quite a few cool bars though.

When I was a child my Italian parents took me to Little Italy in NYC which is right next to Chinatown. I didn't know that at the time. I heard people speaking Italian so I'm all "Oh good, I kinda understand them" so like a big shot I walked down to the corner nearest Canal St.. I heard Chinese for the first time and went 'DAAAAAAAAAAD?' who already was wondering where I got off to and swept me back to the echoes of a familiar language.

I miss the old and wild Times Square. The dirty, dank and dark. Maybe you weren't looking to buy drugs but it was courteous of the sellers to ask.

Good ol fair oaks mall. Still looks EXACTLY the same😂. I used to walk around this mall in the mid-late 90s in high school. I went to Chantilly high school. We would walk around smoking cigarettes like we were cool. Back when you could smoke in malls. Man it seems like another era. Those elevators havent changed one bit. They used to have a big water fountain there.
