This is a very well done video. I appreciate the deep dive into the history of Lunenburg in your video! I can tell you worked very hard on this video, I just subscribed!
beautiful town. truly feels like from another time. Very Pastoral
It's such a lovely town! Definitely one of my favourites from my trip to Nova Scotia.
are there actual rattlers?
lol for a second I thought it to be named after India's capital :)
im from digby grew up there my entire childhood. i was one of the last ones born in the digby hospital . i live in alberta have 2 kids, and a wife im 30. i miss that place entirely
My Mother was born on the Island. I have been there many times. The people are amazing and always welcome you in
A jewel among small town Ontario. Don’t forget to visit the nearby Balderson cheese outlet. Perth is blessed with many heritage buildings!
That’s my town😂
I visited Rock Wood many times as my Father enjoyed driving there. He would collect lime stone to put on his garden while we were there. Great place to explore!
Interesting video. Not sure if I misheard, but was the McConnell nursery referred to as "infamous"? Is there a story there or did you mean "famous"?
... and twenty four homes have an outdoor swimming pool and that 15 are in ground pools.
Will visit Westport in a week. Thanks for the informative video!
You'll have a wonderful time! Thanks so much for watching.
Down by london ontario.. i cant believe ppl still send kids to that psycho factory.. ya send your kids to be taught giving people herion is a good idea
What about the Pork farms now heavily populating the farms. The individual workers ride their bicycles to work in the industrial farms. Ford is enroaching on thecland and building new subdivisions for Indian immigrants. Many of the goung Mennonites have moved to PEI to farm. Now Kent county is welcoming others down by Chatham. Us locals cant get near the market to shop, its full of people from Toronto, the food is good if you can get in there. .
Where did you get these pictures?
Very interesting ! A shame more small towns have not followed this , and preserved their history.
I agree!
Totally terrific.
It’s a very busy little town during the summer months and weekends. Lot’s of great shopping for that perfect gift or something for yourself too. Nice little town on the lake.👍
Great channel. I really enjoy what you do.
Thank you very much! More videos will be coming soon.
Looks like a kind of town Stephen King can write a novel about.
Well done. Thanks.
Totally terrific. I could be mistaken, but I believe Mitt Romeny, a former U.S. presidential candidate owns a cottage in Grand Bend. I thank you for this very interesting video. I commend you for your hard work and creativity.
You'd be correct! and thank you for watching.
Totally terrific.

I go to Lucan every yr and visit the graves of the murdered Donnelys! Pat Farrel didnt own the land, Jim Donnelly owned the 50 acres he was on as granted by a judge!!! Pat Farrel was angry that Jim got he 50 acres, and tried to kill Jim with a hand spike but was himself killed intead!!!
came here to see the dragstrip :)
It is a very pleasant town; the Mrs and I visit several times a year to have a picnic in the private park at the top of the bluff, just south off the beach. The name of this park just escapes me, sorry. From this park one may see the same sunset twice! Once from the beach at the water's edge, and when the sun disappears below the horizon over the lake, just hustle up that long stair case from the beach to the park above, and you can witness the same sunset again. The lack of a washroom in the park is a bit of a pain, but it is a privately owned park open to the public. Public washrooms are not too far away on the street in the marina.
This is SPARTA
In 1974 at Western University we started the A train and it took you to Lucan on Saint Patrick's Day and returned you back to the university
How cool!
So, it's more than just a sign on the 401! I'm gong to check it out, thanks!
what about Tillsonborg even nicer
While nice, Tillsonburg is definitely not a small town anymore!
Why not "Vienna"? We already have Paris and London in Ont.
Wow! Yet another absolutely awesome and totally terrific video. You are to be commended for your hard work and creativity. I give you top marks, all around.
Wow! A totally terrific video. Thank you for your hard work and creativity in producing this top-notch video You are to be commended.
I love your Southwestern, Ontario accent. Love your videos. Thank you. From Mississauga, On.
Thanks for watching!
Yes,s indeed Back in The Good old days Thank From Rick. From Richard Reginald Hibbert Johnston Sr.
Nice video, I driven through the area a few times. I agree it’s sad there is little to no funding from government to preserve Canadian heritage and culture but there are unlimited funds for the dictator to squander on far away places few care about. Typical of leftoids.
A totally terrific video. Thank you for your hard work in creating it
Thank you so much!
A totally terrific video.
Excellent -- simply excellent.
Thanks for watching!
Very interesting. Great job. I am impressed.
And folks, one of the major reasons most Canadians say the words "out and about" Is that they say them like the Scots say them. Kinda like "eowt" and "abeowt".
PLC S IS A SHIT HOLE
What a great video. I really enjoyed the history you shared. I hadn't heard of this community before, though I did know of Merrickville. Keep up the great work. 👌👍
Thanks so much for watching!
As someone who lives in Rockwood I am happy that you used real pictures (thank you)
Rockwood was beautiful! I'm hoping to visit the conservation area sometime again this summer.
Wasn't it called Sandytown around the time of the butter factory moving?
Really nicely done. Congrats.
Thanks for watching!
I'm from Indonesia and had the opportunity to visit Merrickville several years ago. Very beautiful, indeed, but I wish I had watched this video before. Learning about the history would make my visit more meaningful.
I'm so glad you found my video! Never too late to learn about about the town's history.
Ontario has many, many charming small towns and counties. You must visit Stratford, Ontario some time.
