i tried to keep it short... if you need additional information please ask at comments...
The third pad alongside the positive and neutral connections I guess is for an earth connection which was left out. Add a heavier cable with three pin plug and run an earth connection to the tip to make it safer for the person using it as well as for electrostatic protection.
I thought about it and i measure the resistance of this cable and is more than enough... (sorry, i don't remember the value now). Earthing is a good idea!
Wouldn't you think the easy thing to do for these manufactures is to solder the wires on properly. There is also no earth wire to the tip which potentially makes it a leathal weapon.
Totally agree but apparently there is more than that necessary... After this quick fix it happened soon again the same problem so the best solution i found working so far is hot glue!! (I also added a 1.5A fuse inside the case just to be sure...)
Ωραία κόλληση!
Χρόνια στο κουρμπέτι...;)
2:10 you can hear the disappointment for this poor quality... ;))
Horrible charger. Poor usability and also freezes during charging and keeps overcharging batteries while information gets stuck on the display. Most often happens when running test for checking battery capacity. Overcharges sometimes to over 1.5V which is way too much for NiMH batteries. 1.47V as seen on video isn't that healthy either.
I think you should try this one out, its far better than others and best selling on the amazon amzn.to/2mUwpfI... dont forget to read customer reviews before buying.
lol ?! there is 3.7v ,like all power banks, not 7v xD
hi, so this generates 5 volts 3 amps (15 watts)? how long does it last after fully charged? thanks!
hi, i can't say how much will last because i have never used it from full charge to 0 but that depends in your devise...for example if you have a cell phone that has a 3000mA battery at 0% charge this will charge it up to 80% almost...everything is relevant...
does it still work?
+MrDICKHEAD28 yes it does!
Your measurement is totally wrong dude. Your multimeter is not even on the Volt tab... You are measuring Amp. (with totally wrong way) and saying that its 4,15 Volt ??? They are not same units !! WTF !
+Oğuz Demirhan axxaaxaxxa you are absolutely right....thanks for your comment that gives me the opportunity to explain something that nobody noticed before... my measurements are correct, my multimeters selecting wheel is damaged so it turns always more than the clicks it does, so i find the diode mode always, testing with the ''beep'' and i make a mark (you can actually see some marks on the wheel...) so then i know where it is.... totally irrelevant with the project but really funny!! :)) thanks again my friend!!
2:32 That's a 3.7v lithium pack.....
take the rubber off you will see 3.7 volts
UE2 of course i did it...but there wasn't. anyways voltmeter said so...
i bought one of power bank. which says 50000mah. i don't believe what it says. all i care when i buy one of those battery bank is. that how many battery it have in it. more is better. it have 8 18650 batteries in it. and my tablet last almost all day with it. so thats my advise when buying a battery bank. buy the one which have more 18650 batteries in it. i hope it helps others.
I have the exact same housing, with the same printing on the back for 20,000mAh with a 3 printed over the 2. When I opened up mine, there were three batteries, not just one. They were model Newsun pl903295. The total capacity of mine would be 9,600 mAh, still a lie but much better than yours!
twocsies The capacity is depending on how you charge a and discharge a LiPo.
TamioxII wouldn't you think that the capacity also depends on the batteries inside?
twocsies the capacity depends ONLY on the batteries.. :)
Thanks for sharing...so which power bank do you recommend?
sorry but i haven't found any trustworthy so far..
i have one of this power blank and like you said its only 3000mha - very poor
Genika aksizei na to parw gia na fortizw tin gopro kai ena mp3? exw psonisei apo kinezous sto ebay kai paizei poli psema sta proionta tous. :\
I didn't say it is not working. it does the job, and if it's sunny you won't need the battery either because it is charging directly from the sun your device. But if you need bigger storage capacity you can buy something more reliable...
i bought one and i think got scammed too! are any of these 30kmah ones real or they a real fake and this capacity simply doesn;t exist?
i am not an expert but i made a reasearch for 3.7v li-po battery. i cant find more than 12000mAh sold and even this i don't really belive it...so it is like ''loch ness monster''...some belive it does exist, some no...and some hope to see it!!
if your research brings any info let me know here or mail me.
grpapajim In order to achieve 30k mah with a 3.7v battery you would need multiple cells in parallel. The battery inside this unit is approx 3k mah, you could parallel 10 of them to achieve somewhere around 30k mah. Think about how large the device would need to be... Here's a pre done power pack with a few parallel cells to provide 30k mah. www.batteryspace.com/polymerli-ionmodule37v40ah148wh7aratewithpcbandpolyswitch-1.aspx
