Thx a lot sir
Good information!
Thank you
Very illuminating!
Mitigating the risk, de-risking hides the ML culprit with less surveillance of the ML entity. Awesome!
Again, very helpful.
Great!
For your work
You are right on in the concepts, construction of these theories and exposure of how honest economies and individuals get caught up in money laundering- as it seems like such a Shadow Economy thing to do. Bravo. Trying to keep a friend from this happening in the next few days! Wish me luck! Will keep tuned to your videos.

The part that resonated with me was when you said GRC is looking from within into the outer world. The focus is on what is essential to the company's strategic growth and how GRC can help support and drive the vision. Thanks for sharing!

Another great video Professor.
Thank you for your positive feedback
I would say that risk-based regulation is already outdatad, for it is a rather selfish approach. In general, risk-based assessments only look on the negative consequences for myself, not the others. If only third parties are damaged or harmed, that's fine for me becuase it means there's no risk for me (unless I might be sentenced to compensations). That's what ruined our environment so harshly, and that's what sustainability and compliance were invented against ...
I do not believe it is outdated. It is merely a new tool in the legal toolbox that maybe people are getting used to use more and more now - hence feeling that it is not groundbreaking anymore. It does however affect many people and jurisdictions and will probably be the tool used in terms of coming environmental legislation.
@@academiccompliance If we agree that it's mainly about priorization then neither the legal nor the economic view is suitable any longer. You have to have a value based approach, you got to live up to what you think is right. Walk your talk. If you deem all humans to be equal then non-discrimination is a no-brainer irrespective of what it may cost or if you else would face legal claims. Walk your talk instead making excuses; excuses only signal that you don't mean it ...
Most clear and concise explanation I could find on youtube! Thanks!
Thank you so much for your positive feedback.
Very good. Interesting the extended version. I talk to my students about the classical theory of money laundering and compare it with a five-stage analytical model. I like your explanation that goes beyond the traditional model. Take care.
Thank you for that great feedback. If you have ideas for more videos that could help your students, please send them my way :)

Thank you so much for your positive feedback :)
Is it about the economics professor Nash? Nash from the movie... brilliant mind - im not sure what the title is. Thank you!
Yes. The movie was called a beautiful mind and it is amazing.
So nice to understand this better, Thanks
You are welcome!
Another great video. At least in case of Bangladesh, the NRA is fundamentally flawed in that it does not cover emerging technologies and religious trust fund( thousands of them, fully unregulated), among others. Interestingly, both APG and FATF keep ignoring this serious omissions and keep rating high for technical compliances.
It has been the common issue that the NRA's have merely focused on making a "status quo" and not been used as a strategic measure, which would be more in line with the risk-based approach. However, we can hope for improvements in this field.
Thankyou 😊👍
Thank you for your positive feedback :)
is compliance risk management a relevant career at an investment bank today?
Even an investment bank needs to focus on core values and regard their own compliance commitment. However, I am not sure if it is what you refer to when writing compliance risk management?
