Always fully brief the pilot, making sure that he understands the ship's speed and manoeuvring characteristics. Always ask the pilot to discuss the passage and berthing
For Berthing 51,000 TONS DEADWEIGHT BULKER it requires Three TUGS to control
Vessel movement towards berth.
To approach berth the vessel should be parralled to the berth abt 5 cables prior commencing to push the vessel towards berth. Three tugs should be used for Berthing
to control ship movement towards berth.

For an unberthing, challenge will again be to pull the vessel nearly parallel to the berth to avoid either end from making contact with the jetty. Once the ship is safely clear from the berth, preparation for swinging can be made.

      Pag Far East Trade ibig sabihin sa asia lang ang biyahe ng mga ship. Mababa ang sweldo ng mga seaman sa biyaheng far east kasi yung biyahe malapit lang kumpara sa biyaheng international mahaba ang biyahe matagal sa dagat.
