I’d love to visit sometime, but I know how much walking is involved, and I just can’t manage it. I work FDIC down there every April, and that nearly takes me out. 😕 FDIC includes the Dome and the parking lots between the Dome and the convention center.

It's unfortunate that I can't watch these shows live, but I still enjoy them. I'm going to head over to Facebook to see who made it in and listen to the commentary on the race.

I think it is saver to buy.a whole new coilovers assembly fir your car than converet regular one, it looks to me dangerous and not saver to convert, doesn't worrh the risk.

Is this appropriate for an offroad application? Do you remove the separate stock spring or do you just add another spring onto the coilover? Do you need to affix the adjustment tube to the strut body in some way (no heat) to prevent the rattling?

You can change your gear ratio in your neon transmission. I'm running a 4.35 in my car currently. You will be limited because of case clearance but can go much bigger than the 4.35 ring gear.

  • @chrislee3233

Spicer gear has a nice ratio calculator that let's you plug in your ratios and tire height and rpm to give you pretty accurate speeds

Bristol isn't quite as fast as I was figuring it'd be. I think I remember you saying you run a 3.55 there and were in the low 7k rpm range. That'd be 108 mph at 7300 rpm. I was guessing top speeds around 115ish.

This is exactly the tutorial I needed. I kept Googling "install vent on fuel cell" or "install rollover valve on fuel cell". I didn't think to look for "install return line on fuel cell". What size PVC pipe did you use, and did you cut it down yourself or was it pre-cut and pre-drilled?

This is a great video and very informative. I know shock stroke/length, adjustable sleeve length and spring length play a factor, but After cutting off the factory spring perch what is the best best way to determine where you weld the new perch location?

Awesome video of extremely relevant questions all of us DIY engine builder and track enthusiasths should be thinking about! While most can't do the first step of their engine building (the actual machining requiring expensive equipment and lots of experience), the remainder of the process can be significantly improved by just paying attention to details. And that's what you guys were working on here. Lake is hands down my favorite person to follow the past few years. His passion and willingness to help others resonates with all of us gear heads and hot rodders. Thanks for taking the time to put this together. also, fill me in on these other secrets you're going to discuss with him so i can apply it to my LS7 build, lol. email of course. Thanks!

    • @FrontWheelDiscussion

You don't want to weld onto the strut body. The pressurized strut will blow out the sides and it can be extremely catastrophic!

Instant subscribe excellent quality clarity value found nowhere else on RUclips. I ran 1800.00 Bilstein PSS9’s. (You know when I had money.) With Your instruction I could grab worn out shocks rebuild them and coil over it from a junkyard.
