How do I bid faster on buy it now auctions as they pop up?

So more or less last 3 seconds to bid. But if the highest bid is $63, how much more should you bid up?

I keep getting beaten to a bid by 1sec by people who have never bid on said item. ? Are they using a computer program.???

Watch out, sometimes it wants you to confirm the bid again.

If u have 2 second left are u able click and ebay will wait till u put your bid or u click and after 2 seconds if u didnt put your bid can u lose even if u where going bid the highest?

All you have to do is bid $1,000,000 in the last several seconds, the Ebay automatic bidding system will automatically make adjustments so you will only pay about 1 dollar above the last highest bid. You will certainly win this way.

I usually bid around 7 seconds just incase I have to raise my bid.

For the last week I've been looking at pocket watches from this one guy and I've been bidding when there's 2 seconds left until it ends and somehow someone always outbids me by like 50 cents which doesn't make sense because I bid for more than a few dollars higher so it's not like they can press the increase button and get 50 cents higher in less than a second

Idk wtf happened, I bid in the last 10 seconds and I was the highest bidder to the end where it said it ended and 0s remained. But then it would turn to 2 min remaining, so I refreshed it and then it said ended again and that I was the highest bidder. And some mf still managed to beat me somehow when it said ended. Is this some sort fucking scam?

What happens if I bid 4 days early? Do I still have a winning chance? It says “you’re the high bidder” is that a good thing?

It's so stupid that this works. The clock should reset to 5 minutes every time there is a new bid placed within 5 minutes of the end.

Ive dobe this many times but sometimes 2 1/2 seconds someone else could have bit HIGHER and beat you to it since their bit was there FIRST.

Yea I made the mistake and got into a bidding war with someone. Didn’t jack up the price too badly but I’m not touching it til the last day . I never used eBay before so I had no idea how it worked. So hopefully the other bidder thinks I’m out and I can come in the last 10 seconds and bid and win .

Rarely do I bid snip but I did tonight knowing most of bidders were likely distracted by 4th of July festivities.Won a new Ninja coffee cold brew retails at Walmart $199 got it for $66 plus shipping for $17 plus tax total $89.Bid last 10 seconds which I’ve always done home Wi-Fi is excellent so no worries.Beat out 12 other bidders.Been wanting one of these ninja cold brew makers for years but couldn’t justify the price even on the older model ninja brew stations preowned are still selling for $30 plus shipping for around $20.

Your 'extensive knowledge' didn't work for me genius. I did as you suggested and LOST a bid w/4 seconds to go. Maybe you might mention that the timing is different when the seller is one time zone away...

I found it funny how people get anxious , I guess they are beginners, but I've seen many people bid against themselves, 4-5 or 6 times before they figure out what's happening. The last 4 to 6 seconds is where the "old hands" showcase their moves, sometimes they are dazzling. A couple times I saw bidders place their bids with about 3 secs to spare and I was ready for them and snatched it with 1/2 a sec to spare, but my heart was beating a 100 miles an hour, I decided that I did not need the object at the price of a heart attack.

Is the eBay mobile app a good place to bid?

Does EBay not have an auto extension if a bid is received in the last couple of minutes? Other auction sites will extend by 2mins if a bid is placed within the last 2 mins

Also, when you type a bid in the box it goes to a review bid page so you actually have to bid twice in a way, or at last click twice.
