This song was chosen I assume because it's the type of song Patrizio (crooner) is known for and he is a guest in South Africa to showcase his voice there where he is very popular. And I suspect that he and Amira did the duet because the first time they sang together it was a real hit with both the audience and afterwards on RUclips. There is no shortage of the opera type songs that showcase her voice better on video from Amira on RUclips. You would like one of her latest - Ebben ne andro lontana - this is a powerful opera aria from last year.

9156 This is definitely five hats when a young artist can lay it all on the line and create a masterpiece like this. the Cinematography on this is tremendous, especially the color combinations at the end of the video. It is almost as impressive as her powerful singing. This song could be depressing but it is too high quality to leave you in the dumps.

Amira also sang "Gabriella's Song" as item 10 on the program, and "Halleleuja" as the 18th item; here she sang in Swedish, as the song is from a Swedish film. The audience was about 9500 people.

It is understood that this is her statement to the record company that kept her down from her style and tried to pigeon hole her into what they wanted. That was the old girl. When she became independent the old girl left and the confident, strong musician took over. After she declared her independence, we have received some great music from her with promise of more.

I'm old enough to remember the original hit by Eric Carmen when I was a child but man, I never get tired of watching this. I never get tired of hearing this. It's just absolutely incredible.
