Couldn’t find an in depth walk through of Vexus 1980cc so I decided to just make one.
what performance #'s are you getting with the 150 Suzuki ? Prop size?
Tournament load 49-50mph around 5600-5700 rpm running the stock prop.
Nice setup just bought use 2022 AVX 1980 cc set up for striper fishing thanks for video, we also crappie and walleye fish. Off the subject on your are your roll up door metal or vinyl?
It’s a metal door
Amen. Jesus Christ first. Love the words from Ed
NICE!!!!!!!!
How deep is your transducer how are you seeing the splash
It only needs to be about 6” under the water and run it one click up. Will see the splash that way.
How long is the rod you were using?
Chris was using the Epic 8 by Huckabee Rods
Gotta love Ed Duke, I’m 81 and talked to Ed a few times and owned several of his rods. What a great gentleman, he’s as honest as the day is long. Thanks for sharing this video. 👍
Couldn't agree more!
Great video! I pick up my 2180 this weekend
Good choice! You will enjoy it
How deep is your livescope transducer in the water?
6ish inches
I like the scale that you are using to weigh your fish. May I ask were I can purchase one?
It’s a Bubba scale. You can buy them about anywhere online $100.
Love the video! We need to learn as much from these old school fisherman as we can! Thanks for the video
Yes we do
Nice job Tyler and Mr. Ed Duke. You now have a new follower because of this really cool video 👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks for subbing
Great show! I’ll never forget when Ed helped me out on Greenwood years ago when me and my wife fished. Don’t remember exactly what he said but I remembered how he made me feel and that’s welcomed. Thanks Ed!!!!
Words of wisdom for sure.
Great video guys!
Thanks so much!
Thank you for bringing a good show to I met Mr Duke at a charity tournament two years ago at High rock lake I am the same age as he is I love crappie fishing and I fish once a week depending on the weather I’m still looking for that three pounder lol thanks again
Very cool! Thanks for watching
@@tylerclark848 Tyler can you give me a report in High rock have the Crappie moved up to the shallow areas yet I ask because I live an hour and 30 minutes away I would appreciate a report thanks
Good man and fisherman
Couldn’t agree more.
Great show guys!
Thank ya sir
Great video guys i caught the last 20 minutes last night had to restart it. See yall at badin tomorrow!
Have fun!
Great guys. Chris is a beast!!😃
He most definitely is and will be bringing the heat tomorrow at Badin.
Hey Tyler. What size is the rubber stopper, did you get from Vexus? Thanks.
I can’t remember what size it was but I just grabbed one at the local hardware store. It was a tad too big so I trimmed it down a little bit. Haven’t had a drop of water in that compartment since.
caught some nice slabs. thanks for the video man 👍
Thanks for watching!
Where can I get them breaks from they look nice! And great video.
Check out Wacky Riggers in NC. I don’t believe they are on the website yet but if you call and ask for their Tail Hooks they’ll get you hooked up. Tell them you saw Chris Millers video on RUclips 👍🏻
Great information! Appreciate the video
Yes sir Mr Ricky! We plan on doing more videos in the future so stay tuned in.
What launch are u using I thought the video was very informative I look forward to watching more videos in the future
We were at the Southmount Ramp in this video. Plenty of parking and restrooms at this ramp.
What's that box on the right of the LiveScope? My bad, I didn't watch the video long enough
It’s independent controls for the rear trolling motors. We go through a full break down on them about mid way through the video.
Awesome rig and great video!
Thank you!
Wow what a machine!
I told my wife it might be the last boat I ever buy so it’s going to be exactly what I want.
Hi What rod are you using? Good backbone? Thanks Enjoyed and subscribed!
Hey Brett, in this video he was using the Todd Huckabee Epic 8. It’s a great rod for flipping to the fish or if you prefer to dead stick with a long pole, I suggest the Huckabee 16’ K-rod. All Huckabee Rods have a solid backbone to flip 2+ pound fish easily. When fishing alone I never use a net. Hope this helps!
Great video guys!
Thanks so much!
Very cool!
Quick and simple. No point in throwing them away 👍🏻
Great video! Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Can we get a Video or Short of your boat setup? Looks awesome.
Absolutely. I’m planning on doing a one year review on the boat here soon. Subscribe to stay tuned!
Best video I've seen to help me understand how to use Live Scope. Im itching to catch a crappie now. Just getting back into it after bass fishing for a while. Again, great job.
Good deal thank ya sir! Let me know if there’s anything else you’d like to see.
Excellent video! Thanks for posting!
Glad you enjoyed it. More plans for the future!
Great Job Guys!!
Thanks Ralphie! Just trying to be like you ✊🏻
How long did it take for your order?
I believe it was about 6-8 weeks from order to delivery but dealership was expecting 4-6 months. I think I got mine faster because they already had Suzuki’s in stock and was told a lot of mercury’s were on back order.
@@tylerclark848 Thanks. I put my order on 4/5/23. Can't wait.
I’ll be doing a six month review here soon as well
What shaft length is your ultrex?
52”
I think Andy is in trouble.
Lol I asked her if she wanted to fish some tournaments next year and her response was, “not if it’s gonna be cold.” So Andy is in the clear 😂
Any idea what the rod locker length is? I have some 7’10” cranking rods.
I believe they’ll hold a 8’ rod
Excellent review! Thanks for the info
Absolutely! I’ll be doing a six month review around June/July time frame as well so stay tuned for that.
Best walk through I’ve seen of this model. Great job for a first video.
