Hi there. You are correct in that the lead time is within the review period. But the lead time we are referring to is the next lead time. In a sense then, the next lead time is the time to recover if something happens in between the time you look at it.
May I ask can the T= DDRP instead of T=(DDRP+DDLD)? the review period ( May 1 to June 1) includes one lead time of May already. Why adding DDLD?
The lead time is referring to the lead time after the review period. This is in a sense the recovery time in case demand is higher than expected.
Just saw your video on MPS and now this, its amazing how easy you explain these concepts. May I ask what is your background? Career and Experience?certifications?
@@jacobfierro3964 my profile is on LinkedIn and that best shows it. Thank you for the compliments
This is amazing, how do I join your classes ?
Thank you for the kind words! I'm not typically teaching open enrollment classes as it's really hard to get enough people to run a class. I'm open to ideas if you have any?
💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 niceee
nice 💪🏻
One question- withing PTF how can we build something? As shown in your calculation where ever PAB is going below the demand we are intiating the build. But Withing we should not be able to build anything right?
@@sumitpatil6346 I teach in the PTF as if all you can do is buy material, but that is for teaching purposes only. In reality, if you choose to, you can start to build if you'd like. The two fences, PTF and demand fences are really two points in time where as the company, you get to decide what will be allowed to occur or not allowed to occur both inside and outside the fences.
Thank you
Great stuff
Leaving procurement for planning, this is really helping, thanks
Great videos
this saved me fr, thank you so much
Thank you for this tutorial, it makes MPS easy to understand.
this is amazing thank you!!! are u able to please do a video on Aggregate planning level output?
I sure can. Can you tell me a bit more on what aspects you're struggling with? Or what you need?
@@theguruofbiz3572 omg you are amazing! just knowing when to use overtime, Subcontract, when to use both? and when they ask us to find minimum cost plan for this company i believe youd have to know if to hire or fire workers, basically just finding the lowest cost possible
@@theguruofbiz3572 Yes! Basically knowing when to use overtime and subcontract. also when they ask for the minimum cost plan for this company..... how to do it, like do i hire/fire workers, do i use overtime?
By far this has been the easiest explanation of the MPS grid I have found. Thank you!
Thank you! I appreciate it. Are you studying for an exam?
Thank you. Are you studying for an exam?
Thanks for all the videos, sir
My pleasure
I'm studying for the CSCP, and that MPS was an enigma for me. Thank you for your clear explanation.
Awesome! I typically create videos when folks reach out. Don't hesitate to send me a note if you got another topic you need help on!!
@@theguruofbiz3572May need you for the MRP haha Thank you for the offer 😊
I may need you for the MRP haha. Thank you for the offer.
Let me know if and when you do. It'll be a bit more than mps. But definitely doable. Maybe 20 minutes to do and put together. If you subscribe and hit the bell, you'll get notified of it too when you tell me to do it and I post it
@@theguruofbiz3572 I will probably study it on April 30 or May 1. I subscribed to your channel; it's a treasure that would help me in my CSCP journey. Thanks in advance 🙏🏼
Hi, your videos are helping me a lot in my preparation for CTSC and learning concepts in supply Chian. Thanks for your efforts.
That's excellent to hear!!! Thank you. Anything else I can do to help you?
Awesome. Glad it helped. I'm continuing to create this stuff so if you have any topics you have specific and quick need for, let me know and I'll create it and post it to help you!

Thank you VERY much. I appreciate it!
I hope it helps KC. I'm planning to make these available to my classes down the road. Thinking I should do the same for the other certifications.
Much apprecaited here Chuck. Nice, quick snapshot of the various pieces of CTSC. Using in my test prep as well.
Awesome to hear!
Just discovered your RUclips Channel thanks to LinkedIn! - Subscribed and will consume all your content. :-)
Very good video. Made so easy to understand
That's awesome to hear! Thank you very much. I'm curious. Are you currently studying for an exam?
That is another excellent video, Chuck. I am glad that I hit the subscribe button! Great insight on supply chain trade-offs that can help you avoid paying for expediting.
I agree: It saved me back in the day! What I'm hoping these videos do is help someone like you or I, or anyone for that matter. Show the videos to others to open up conversations. I'd rather take the verbal hit if it helps someone get a needed conversation started
Simple and clear - thank you.
Thank you Justin. I have to look you up. What brings you here?
