@@Jamessmit2 Hello there 🙂If you have received a Managed Migration Letter to move over onto UC, you will have to claim UC, as your CTC will stop a day before the deadline date and irESA - 2 weeks after the deadline date. I advice you to contact Citizens Advice/HTC line on 0800 144 8444. That’s a freephone NATIONAL number and you will be able to seek advice on UC from the EXPERTS 👍

Hello there 🙂I you are in receipt of irESA in a support group, you don’t have to undergo a WCA, as you will have a LCWRA automatically. I would advise you to claim UC immediately if you still have some time before the deadline date. Please seek advice from HTC Line/ Citizens Advice - as they have been trained to help people in relation to UC. HTC line - 0800 144 8444, free of charge 🙂

@@mylovesongsmami7415 Hello 🙂The answer is ‚no’ - if you are in receipt of ESA in a support group, you don’t have to undergo a Work Capability Assessment within UC. Moreover, you are likely to have a LCWRA (Limited Capacity for Work and Work Related Activity) automatically, which means an extra element- LCWRA (disability) element will be paid within UC and that will give you extra £416.19 a month. Apart from that- you are likely to be put in ‚no work related requirements group’, which means you don’t have to do anything to prepare or look for work.

@@mylovesongsmami7415 please keep in mind - if you are in receipt of income related ESA, that ‚legacy benefit’ will stop 2 weeks after you claim UC. UC was put in place to replace 6 legacy benefit and that includes irESA.
