Just fitted the box 3 and wow it’s great. Love the simplicity of it snd it’s ruggedness. Sometimes I find shimano wears out so quickly. So let’s see how good this is

I'm using mine on a steel rack I made for the slide in towbar. I've had a rotator cuff repair and my lifting the bike up onto the roof days are over and I do love the Thule Upride. I plan to buy an mountain ebike and the upride will be perfect to use behind the car.

2 years down the line and it will be slipping in the creases....2 points that will wear faster than regular systems ,this whole concept was thought of in the 1800s....that looks expensive and fragile .....i put money on its unreliable

I have a custom touring bike built with the Kindernay 14 hub and Gates drive. Since the hub can be removed, I want to use it on a mid drive e-bike I want to build. Question: How would I put tension on the Gates belt since the hub and mid drive positions are fixed?

Just bought this rack. In theory it makes sense, but the rear silver bars just plop down leaving the bike unsecured. The 29" tire seems too big for the rear silver bar to fully extend, so you cannot ratchet it tighter.

Hi there. I know this is an old video. But I'm planning to restore and upgrade my 26 inch Giant XTC 1 hardtail from 3x9 to a 1x10 or 1x9. I'm more than a roadie than a MTB'r, but I do like to go off-road some times and ride trails with buddies. And that's why I think a 1x9 (wide range) would be enough for me. Where I live we have to order everything online because our LBS don't have that much in stuck. Where can I get these set. Thanks in advance

Replacing a derailleur system- they always need adjustment- with one of these seems great! I have no idea how these things work inside, but I'm sick to death of derailleur problems and I want one!

one issue is if you accidentally pedal backwards you will have a face full of tarmac, unless you can prevent this most people will be hesitant in using this system

Can the Kindernay XIV be fitted with the Rohloff CABLE SHIFTER to actuate its gears?

That looks really cool, and it's thinking out of the box, but how is that better than a normal cassette and chain? It looks like it would be heavy, and how would it shift under the load of mountain biking? Mud and dirt looks like it would clog it. What about in suspension and when the rear wheel moves through the travel? Who would work on that? I like they are trying to come up with something new, but I feel that this idea is just being developed because it's different, not better.

I find it shocking that so many experienced cyclists think that chains distribute the load over many teeth. Think! There are no parallel load paths. Even if you had a brand new chain and sprocket and their pitches were identical to within an angstrom, break-in wear would immediately place most of the load on one or two teeth.
