Gary Hardman's Hot Rod
This is an older video from July of 2016. My Grandpa, Gary, had cancer and was going through treatments at the time. He bought this Hot Rod when he was in high school, and had since used it and rebuilt it before but it had since fallen apart. My dad, Sonny, took the time to restore it and surprise Gary while he was battling cancer. At first, my Grandpa didn't even recognize that it was his Hot Rod, it took a second before figuring out it was his!
Gary passed away later that year. This was edited by a 14-year-old me so it's definitely rusty and has camera issues galore, but I think it's a touching video that my family will always remember because of how much we love our grandpa. That Hot R...

    You guys are not saved! The bible says no one has a private interpretation... it says not to listen to any angel that says it has extra scriptures revelations that contradict the free gospel of peace . Joseph Smith had 40 wives whom some of which were 14 and claimed all these things. Woe to those who are loved by the world and who love the world and let anyone who preaches any other gospel be cursed until judgement day. Joseph Smith has many graven images carved to idolize his presence as "god" you guys means well but stop this please because the lake of fire and brimestone is open to many. 1 John 2;4

      @@karlosgemmell5261 Joseph Smith never claimed to be God. We do not worship him or “graven images” of him as you claim. There are paintings of Joseph Smith, if that’s what you mean. He’s an important figure in church history. But that doesn’t make him God, and he never claimed to be God. The Bible is filled with prophets- men who are called of God to teach His word. (Amos 3:7) These prophets, like Abraham, Moses, etc., are chosen by God to preach the gospel to men. After Jesus Christ’s death, the Apostles were left to preach the gospel on the Earth. They were eventually killed for their faith, and the church that Christ had established fell into apostasy. Joseph Smith was chosen by God as a prophet to restore the full gospel of Jesus Christ and His church. This is done in order to fulfill the restitution of all things (Acts 3:19-21, Isaiah 29:14, Ephesians 1:10) The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints today is a restoration of the same church that Jesus Christ established. The church is either true, or it isn’t. The only way to know is to seek the truth with sincere intent and pray about the message of the restoration. If all you believe is what others say unto you, then you haven’t investigated truly. You have to study and ask God with humility if the message is true. Then it will touch your heart like it has mine. I hope this can help you understand what the gospel is actually all about ❤️

      @@graysonhardman1250brother, I remember earlier on with my walk with God I was in town and met some missionaries who appread really nice at first. After I had said hi my day got progressively worse. I'm a healthy person and I started getting chest pains and weird migranes/hallucinations. I was crying out to God for help and he showed me a picture of the 2 missionaries I met as vampires sucking blood from me. I immediately put the cross between me and them and prayed against it and it was immediately broken. The lord had reveled that your church does witchcraft but only the higher up ones which is what God wants to expose. I don't know how much you know about your own "true church" but the antichrist is reveled to many belivers by the spirit of God in your church and you need to break free and belive the gospel of peace. Nothing you do will get you to heaven except for faith in his grace alone. The reason I quoted 1 John is because you guys can't know God without the true gospel testifying of the only way to him. Dueteronermy 13 will explain how Joseph Smith. Of jude will tell you about "men of old who got in and turned the gospel of peace into evilness" they command you to follow certain rules that you don't even know why you follow them and your good conscience has questioned but you oppressed them. Break out of there and start a real relationship with the lord. I can be there for you as a prayer partner 🙏 but it's important you read about faulse prophets and revelations about adding to "any of these books or laws" with the book of mormon. Also I've been talking with an elder in your congregation and he has informed me phrophets of your congregation incorporate the ideas of egyptology

I'd also never read the book of mormon as i know what the bible says about added scripture and I'm not gonna take part in that. All throughout the bivle there are people who added scripture and added to the law and they perished. If christ fulfilled the law then why do you guys make more laws.

      @@karlosgemmell5261 if you would like to actually discuss beliefs then we definitely can, instead it seems you’re more interested in throwing out unresearched claims that belittle my religion. When the Bible says that we can no longer add to the scriptures, it is referring to the book itself. In Deuteronomy we see the first instance of this in Deut 4:2. It’s referring to the book itself, otherwise the rest of the Bible wouldn’t exist because as you claim the future writers would have been cursed. Not to mention the fact that the Bible itself was only assembled centuries after originally being written, the book of Revelation (which I’m assuming is the scriptural claim you’re trying to reference) was likely written before the gospel of John. That means John, who wrote revelation, broke his own rule. This scriptural argument to not add onto the word is simply not a viable claim. The word “sincere” we use to mean give something a chance and be open to the truth. All we ask the world is to ask God with a sincere heart to know if the Book of Mormon is true. As Jesus says, “Ask, and ye shall receive.” I asked long ago in prayer, and I received my answer. Don’t attack others for their personal faith in Christ. It’s certainly not what He would do.

      Thanks for sharing! It might surprise you to know that I agree with you! Jesus Christ has already atoned for our sins and we need to accept Him. A lot of times in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints we put too much emphasis on what we must personally do to accept Christ rather than on emphasizing the great sacrifice that He has already made for us. We are better Christians when we remember and put the emphasis on the Savior. At the same time, Christ himself emphasizes a gospel of action. It is not enough to merely say that we accept Him without showing it. That is why we serve missions. Christ himself commands his disciples at the end of Matthew to “make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.” At the end of John, Christ emphasizes the importance to feed his sheep. He taught sermons on personal conduct and gave commandments of how to live, so that we can feel His atoning grace more in our lives. James famously states that faith without works is dead. If we only focus on faith in Christ without acting like Him, we only have part of His power. By being baptized like He was and following His perfect example, we fulfill his great commission to “Follow Me.” You’re correct, Jesus is the reason that we are saved. We need to acknowledge our sin and ask for His forgiveness. But we also need to take personal action to follow Him. Thank you for your question!

    I got a chuckle out of your statement at 0:37 "all the people we HAVE to stop by today". Did you ever ask yourself how much time you spend proselytizing? And whether that time would be better spent doing something more constructive than constantly pestering people? You are essentially being exploited by your church as unpaid workers. Why can't you just accept the fact that other people have different beliefs? Nobody pesters you with their beliefs (but if they did I guarantee you would soon see how annoying it is). I know you are sincere and you believe you are "saving" people but your beliefs are just that - beliefs. They are just your opinion and you have no more evidence they are correct than Muslims have that theirs are correct. The only reason you are Christian is that you were raised in a predominantly Christian country. If you were born in an Islamic country you would be Muslim and just as certain that Islam is the one true faith as you are now convinced Christianity is. The Bible is simply a record of the beliefs of people who lived 2000 years ago and has no relevance today. You people going around preaching about the Christian god is no different than someone today going around preaching about any one of the other gods humans invented (e.g. Apollo), telling everyone Apollo is the one true god and we should worship him alone.

    I was very confused by your singing of "How firm a foundation" at the end of this video. This hymn was written in 1787 and is saying that the foundation for our faith is the Bible, and we don't need anything else---"What more can He say than to you He hath said?" (a rhetorical question, to which the answer is nothing!) The author of this hymn is saying that God has given us what we everything we need in the Bible to understand our faith. How do you understand this hymn in light of the additional scriptures your church accepts, as well as the possibility of new revelation from modern prophets? Isn't that more that God is saying?

    • @graysonhardman1250
      @graysonhardman1250 Месяц назад

      Hey! Thanks for commenting your question. I didn’t know the history behind that hymn, thanks for sharing! In our faith we believe that God will always communicate with his children, and that revelation is ongoing. God calls prophets to teach his children, and we believe that he still calls prophets today. While we love and read from the Bible, we know that there are more sources to learn about God and Jesus Christ. Here are some scriptures we read from that mention the need for prophets and apostles, even some written after Jesus Christ’s death. (Amos 3:7, John 21:25, Ephesians 2:20, Ephesians 4:11-12) Sorry that I can’t answer your question fully, if you’d like to learn more there are local missionaries in your area that would love to talk more with you! www.comeuntochrist.org
