This is such an incredibly rare treasure. The audio quality and video were captured incredibly well, showcasing both their fledgling youth and inexperience as performers: shy, stilted, pitchy backing vocals, an attentive crowd but not quite sure what to make of this unusual new all-synth band performing every analog note along to a taped drum loop machine. The vast majority of early DM recording were captured from live television performances where 99% of the sound was pre-recorded and lip-synced so we could never get an accurate depiction of how they sounded as a raw, live band. I absolutely love this!

OMG. I was at that concert. A small town in the south of Luxembourg in the middle of nowhere. It was an awful concert, the tape machine broke down in the middle of it and they had to stop to fix it. The people I went with thought they were brilliant. The affect of alcohol on the carbon based life form. I said it was awful and it was only when we watched it on RTL the following day that they realized I was right. I was sober, the designated driver.

This must have been revolutionary at the time. What a great watch and listen.
