This saw is way better than the milwaukee

I bought this saw to try it and was loving it , but in a period of 2 weeks she did that 2 times and the recip saw something dislocated in the mechanism after 2 days , so i didn't have a very great experience with flex so far.

@OUTILSCLIPSQC gotcha it happens with all brands I've realized just based on first impressions with them but can't go wrong with milwaukee no doubt

High voltage doesn't always equal more power or more effiencient either

Also keep in mind that the xgt could have be more powerfull with a 5 ah 40v battery , unfortunaly this is the only battery i've got with me during that test , thanks for watching

@@OUTILSCLIPSQC got that but being a 36v tool (marketing says 40v max) should generate less heat for the same workload yet it overheated while the M18 only stopped 2 times but finished the cut. Saying this when I am a makita fan and wanting to switch to XGT but isn't that impressive considering the extra price too. Very few 40v tools are really good but most is just dissapointment like the impact drivers...

@@OUTILSCLIPSQC owned LXT for 15 years and tried Milwakee a few times, the feel isn't as good as on Makitas and reliability also on the blue side. Still debating which one to invest to...

The dcs 575 was release in 2016 then a newer version , dcs578 was release in 2020 with 47% more power this one in the video.

Yes after not very long , this saw is crazy fast thought but she will not sustained full depth ripping or any kind of riping for a long period

@@OUTILSCLIPSQC that's the down side of that saw unfortunately. I do know Milwaukee has that overheating protection. The problem with Flex though is that they love to overengineer by giving you more protection and features, but more than often it gets in the way of getting the most potential out of the tool. Great for cross cutting, but ripping is alright. Are there better saws? I think there is.

Yes i just noticed that i gonna make an other video , i still prefer the m18 over the dewalt

The dewalt has more power but when using the dogs she stall easily compared to the m18

I think this was a good comparison, regardless of how you do the cut, really the straight cutsyou did with the Milwaukee are more efficient because all of the bar is in the wood through the whole cut meaning the maximum amount of chips getting taken out.

Your full of shit the dewalt 16in cuts almost twice as fast and the 20in cuts faster than the dewalt 16in ​@OUTILSCLIPSQC

I realy love it i have no complain exept the dust chute is always clog . Very powerfull

This makita recip saw is truly an amazing saw

It is realy impresive and so the saw is too , the 12 ah will be the best battery on the market

Yes its was both brand new blade but its was also crapy new blade of the maximum brand purchasing at canadien tire .

@@OUTILSCLIPSQC when you are in that platform, sure it's a solid saw. When it comes to comparison, as most of us like to do, there are better options out there. Milwaukee is not a best option for Carpenters, it's a solid option, but not the best.

@@OUTILSCLIPSQC in my opinion both rear handle makita xgt Dewalt flexvolt saws are at the top. Obviously there are saws for different tasks, but those two just all around great

Milwaukee does Not make the Best Everything , Far from it , they have a great SawZall , Impact driver , Hammer Drill is decent and maybe their Multi-Tool after that their tools are mediocre at best . I also like their M18 Nailers . Id take DeWalt , Makita or even Flex over them as a Platform if I could only choose one But that's just Me ..... 👍🖖

If dewalt could add 1 "1/4 stroke lenght and orbital action also a rafter hook the dewalt would be a very good sawall because he got the power

You probably gonna have the overheating issue away with a 5 or a 8 but it will make this saw a tad heavier

Thats wild...definitely won't be getting an xgt saw unless I have atleast a 5.0

@@danabenjamin3300 New high output 4ah batteries are way to go, they kick much harder even than 5ah. I don't think it will beat dewalt but makita is much lighter with them.

Check my other video you will find answer to your question , she is mostly a tad more in some cut tools
