Benefit of buying it on sale. sale price. Dont have to stress over cracking and workshop/mods work better. I have nothing against ppl pirating, ive done my fair share to decide if I wanted to keep something. I have ended up buying about 80% of the games I pirated because I liked them. But Ill be dammed if I am paying $80 for a game that takes more than 2 hours to find out you hated it, lol.

Hi yeah I had that cpu, I upgraded to the 13700K because it stuttered badly on star wars Jedi Order, you got alot more value than I did. As for this cpu, I am having no issues with it. Everything I throw at is plays fine for me. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Years!

Yes and No. Fortnite DID crash BSOD but this was not related to the cpu. 265k requires you to run Windows 11 24h2 update. When I reinstalled windows with the new update I had zero crashes. And the first time I installed the OS, I had to use my IGP because my gpu wasnt detected until I flashed the bios. That is the mobo not the cpu. Once I updated bios and my OS, I havent had a single issue, everything is running great!! I have not experimented with the IGP yet, as I use a RTX 4080 for gaming. I will test it soon than later, but atm, I cant give you any info on the IGP as I havent used it.

@@BravoSixGoingDark I believe it was not having the Updated Windows. I went to Asus forums and others reported games using EAC like Fornite and Rust would crash on the 265k if you didnt have the 24H2 windows update. And sure enough, fixed it for me. So far my only regret is I lost my space heater LOL This pc runs as cold as my ex wife. :D

​@@ManCaveMike2099 the 265k is a downgrade from the 14900k though. The 265k is definitely more reliable and more efficient but the 14900k is more powerful (the 14900k also defeats the 285k)

No I had my 13th gen from the day it launched. Cant research something NOBODY knew was going to happen. Also I had zero issue with intel replacing my 13700k 3 years after purchase. AMD wouldnt even help me and told me to buy intel. best advise amd ever gave me. Uploading some 265k benchmarks. So far I have no regrets.

@ Intel has been complacent, I understand you couldn’t of seen it day one, but their cpus are still dying from these issues, to this day. I’ve yet to have an Amd die on me, also I was talking about your Amd, it’s well documented about having to flash the bios, Wich dosent happen anymore, because unlike Intel, Amd fixes there issues

@@nosol7191 Yeah every company has their ups and downs, I am still testing this 265k, but to be 100% honest the only issue I have had, was EAC causing a BSOD, but I didnt have the windows 24h2 update, so my only issues were all windows related. This cpu is so much cooler on load, which will also reduce my electric bill. I still have the 13700k, it was returned brand new and a new 5 year warranty was granted, but I have no regrets returning the 14900k. I am not against trying AMD, just wont be with my money, AMD can sponsor a video and I will be happy to give an honest review

​@@nosol7191 the cpu failure has been fixed in the core ultra 200- series. They aren't very good for gaming compared to AMD , but they are good for productivity. The i7 265k beats the 9800x3d and the 9900x for productivity.

yeah its more a convivence tbh I favor my Dusk enforcer(now dusk x enforcer) so much more or my crossbow tbh. Only when grinding does the cannon really show its full promise as I find the sand scorcher the better grinder, but requires ammo

I personally like Intel but most people would tell you to go AMD. The 14900K is a beast to cool and uses more power than the 7800x3d. If all you do is game, the AMD would be cheaper, and runs cooler and you wont notice any real performance difference, especially if you play at higher resolution, its gpu bound. The i9 will be better if you also video edit, and do other things too. I have a personal axe to grind with AMD, so I personally prefer intel, but AMD is really making it hard to stay brand loyal lol

@@coolbilly3605 The 4080 would be fine, but if you can wait a few month the 5080 is coming out, so prices might drop on the 4080. I have the regular 4080, and it can run any game today at 1440p and most any at 4k over 60 fps, As time goes on, you may need to lower some settings for triple a titles in a few years, but a 4080 super will work great at 1440p for a good 5 years to come, IMHO

I have tried slot 1 and 3 and 2 and 4 to no different result. The ram just refuses to support XMP. Was my mistake not checking the QVL

@@ManCaveMike2099 that’s weird man I had the same problem and I figured out that the motherboard has its own little example on where to put your main rams and when I did that it booted up and haven’t had a problem

The ram is rated for 6400mhz but it wont go over 4800mhz sadly. Thats the issue. I made the video to provide to Asus and Corsair to show I exhausted all trouble shooting. Asus told me tell Corsair. Corsair said....nothing. Wont be using Corsair in the future.

Because 1. It was sold out. 2. More expensive. & 3 worse in games. I game and do programming and editing.

Yeah I got lucky, my 13700k doesnt have any performance issues aside from running hotter thsn I would like on a 360 aio. but then they cpu is stronger than anything I had before, so I guess it is expected. Also if you repaste your cpu, I strongly recommend the icing on the cake method. Pea size method doesnt cut it on this cpu.

Hey, Greetings from the US :) I have no experience with the AMD side of things in many years, but my 850 watt has powered my 13700k, rtx 4080 with 64gb ddr5 and a 360aio. I have used a 4k144hz and a 4k 120hz in dual mode as well as 2 1440p 165/180hz and a 4k144hz at same time in tie fighter config with zero issues. I also have a 2tb nvme and a 1tb nvme installed. Granted I dont really overclock, but ive played with it. 850watt is fine, 1000watt better if you want to future proof your upgrade options. But this is for intel, I dont want to steer you wrong with amd advise, as all I know is that is a damn good cpu, buit I have no hands on experience with it. Currently using dual 1440p monitor setup

I think the graphics and art style look great. Sins 2 is a good sequel, very pleased how it has turned out and how it plays with the new QOL changes.

No special config. Just 4k with no scaling. The game runs really well at 4k. But when you zoom in during combat fps can tank, but its so smooth you dont honestly feel it.

It's performing amazing. I have it running on a 4k 144hz monitor and no issues. However it does crash on some custom maps, but that could be a mod error. I also have the unit cap insanely boosted. Ill try and upload a combat video with performance stats showing

Unless you are grinding for TS, it will be beaten hands down by UWC, but as for what you said, yeah, its great. I still get about 40 to 80 mil xp per hour more with UWC
