Why don't you have the full hour and 15 minutes of extended and deleted scenes? Idk if that time limit includes the Owen character audition tape but I know theres more that you didn't include. I did just recently buy the 4K special edition with all the extended and deleted scenes.

I'm glad they removed the pizza scenes. Made Del look like a real ass.

Finally it makes sense why Steve was so shocked seeing the bathroom condition AFTER he got out of the shower. Candy was in there WHILE Neil was showering. Always bothered me in the original, ie, why would the have seen all that BEFORE he got in the shower? Mystery solved finally.

Larry Hankin, who plays the taxi driver Doobie, was also in Seinfeld. He portrayed Tom Pepper, the actor cast as Kramer on the pilot-within-a-TV-show Jerry.

Whatever they did, the movie is exactly perfect as it is. Our family watches it every Thanksgiving. I still laugh out loud.

Del ate 3 times in one night! A chili dog at the airport, a dinner on the plane and Neal’s dinner, and almost a whole pizza at the motel. Wow, what a stomach!

“Dell , I’m sorry for those things I said”. Wish I had never seen this. That scene is perfect the way it was cut.

Now a lot makes sense but i would rather it didn’t. I always thought Neil overreacted in the bed scene but now we can see that more has happened for him to have been so pissed. The beauty of the original cut was exactly that. His rant kinda came out of nowhere

I agree with you, my friend they need to do that. You know they’re coming out with lethal weapon five and Mel Gibson is gonna direct it so I’m hoping that they release all four of them. The directors cut theatrical versions on 4K and that would be they’re supposed to release it sometime in 2025 so I’m hoping they release all four of them. Have a great day. Keep the good

The actor playing the pizza delivery guy was a finalist for the part of William S. Preston, Esquire in the Bill and Ted movies. He also had a small but memorable part in Ruthless People.

It’s always good to see scenes that don’t make it into the final cut of a film. But i think it was best that these scenes were left out. I think it would have been too much and would have made it look as if Del was deliberately trying to be as annoying as possible, and would have made the ending, where Neal brings Del home, just a bit implausible

This is one of my favourite movies but in my opinion they made the right decision with cutting these scenes as they’re all a bit clunky to me. Great to see them through 👍🏻

The “farm” scene on the plane is very important character development for Neil Page on how he sees others at this point in his life. It has changed how I view the whole ending of the film. They should have left it in.

I love this movie more than life itself and watch it EVERY Thanksgiving, that said, I mostly agree with the edits they made to shorten the movie

I wonder how Candy felt being portrayed as an absolute pig. Through the course of these scenes he eats a foot long chili dog, his and Neal’s Airplane food and essentially a whole pizza save a slice.

The Doobie scene had me rolling 😂

These additional scenes definitely hurt the original flow of the movie. A lot of it is unnecessary but some snippets could’ve definitely been kept.

This movie encapsulates the holiday travel troupe better than any.

While most of these cut scenes are very funny they show the genius and self-discipline of the editing team that the Final Cut was lean perfection. Every minute was needed to tell the story but not an ounce of fat was left.

That little Trump demanding the Pepsi is classic. 😆 I guess it isn't only today that we have entitled brats.
