If you find one pls tell me ;) sadly pretty much all of the 20+ areas with decent loot are group areas and not really efficient to do solo. Zombies can be killed solo but its not really efficient, cause they are tanky/ health regen. The goblins in the pvp area are the best option i guess. But also far from great. Cleric kinda needs packs of trash mobs to farm efficiently and sadly there is nothing i know of around that level.

I think you can only use the shield on the melee weapon slot iirc, so if you have a 1h melee you can use a shield there. As range weapon you can use wand + focus for example. So ye, you can use wand + shield, just not "together" on the range weapon slot.

@ do you like higher spell power weapons or cast speed weapons? Seems like you’re using a scepter + wand swap with no offhand:

@@bmschlossberg oh i'm using a focus as offhand on the wand, they are just really hard to see visually. i pretty much just went with what i got. for solo single target i like the wand, for aoe the book, cause of the aoe hits. In group i dont like the wand because of the beam animation which is animation locking for a its duration, but the book has aoe and possibly wakes up sleeping targets... I always wanted to try out a spell shortbow, but never got a decent one so far.

@ in my experience none of the ranged weapons aoe including the book. How are you getting the book to aoe?

@@bmschlossberg Hmm, maybe its only the finishers? Not too sure about it, but i was definitely hitting aoe damage with it. Just rewatched a vod, it looks like every hit on the book is aoe. The aoe range isnt that great, maybe thats why you didnt notice it? And keep in mind that the aoe dmg is always less than the hit on the target you are targeting.

Heya, the party leader can right click the party and then click "convert to raid" ;) i like it cause you can see yourself on the group window with that

Thanks man! Yea, i enjoy playing solo or small group if it's not too annoying to heal without a tank. Carphin and Steelrose are supposed to be able to drop armor for casters. The goblins can drop jewelry and weapons for cssters. So besides rings and weapons I don't have lvl20 gear atm, because didn't have a proper group to do the elite areas with. Will change soon hopefully

You got to find a wild bear, "hunt" it (atm its just a placeholder mechanic petting it to death). results in a chance to get a carcass or a living animal which you then can tame at a husbandry station for 55silver (iirc). 50/50 chance to be a mount or a beast of burden for pulling caravans

there are lvl 10 goblin fields around almost every town that should be not too hard to farm

Yea, i dont like the winter graphics eiter, dunno why they have it up all the time atm. also dont forget its a twitch upload so it looks even worse that it actually is. combat feels kinda fun, but ye, the game has many old school pieces

Its an Alpha, its a test, far from polished and a ready product.

@@MagikaDeHex An alpha . after 8 years in development and it still looks like crap and from the video plays like something out of the early 2000's. It will just be another generic MMO dead on arrival.

Hey, i got an AMD 7800XD with an nvidia 4070ti super, 64gb ram (that high ram mostly for doing UE5 editing for fun). performance was smooth on 1440 and max settings other than servers being wonky at very rare occasions and some memory leaks, didnt really check fps, but ye, overall smooth and looking nice if it wasnt for the snow for the whole weekend...

@@CrustyCroco Would you mind checking FPS performance, and maybe at minimum settings as well, if you get a chance? This is for my first gaming PC build - appreciate the help!

@@Avo7977 In a very busy town in the most busy area on the map i get like ~130 fps on lowest settings (still 2k). everything is breaking all the time with the ui and nvidia showing the fps, so its very hard to test for me atm :D on ultra around 100fps same area

Hey, i was using this for solo/smallscale play. For actually focused group healing or pvp you might want to change some skills tho. Was also experimenting with skills and trying out whats working and whats not, so not claiming this is how you should skill. I guess you see what it looked like from our pov tho right? Just went there to bind to the shrine to get killed 3 times in a row by a group, so my group from the goblin fields tried to get me out and then even more of you guys came to respawn kill some of them as well. But ye, shit happens and organising groups isnt always easy, i think flanker also regretted killing magica on the shrine at some point and apologized. Let's put that behind, GGs was a fun fight!

Heya! The jump is one of the Bard's abilities. The hp basically just from higher level stats and a few armor stats, my armor was kinda random level 10 items cause we weren't really able to farm cleric gear in group areas due to the lack of proper group setups.

@@CrustyCroco would u mind telling me which bard ability does this? I cant seem to find it in the skill tree. Cheers!

Yea, people that had high expectations i guess got disappointed. The players that knew what's been up over the years i think had lower expectations and thus are just enjoying whatever they got. The foundation is ok and fun to play if you have a lot of patience, but yea, still way to go.

Hey, sure can do, just keep in mind this was also just for leveling and items i just picked up whatever i got, focusing on int, con, wis and whatever. Same for weapons, everything kind of works, just the mana regen on the weapon skill trees are really nice to have. For skills i as well used stuff mainly for farming things solo or in small group. For pvp situations like this or healing focused i would probably build a bit different and maybe use a shield instead of a second focus. @@GermanBoy00 :D Well ye, but i get it, the game can be a bit overwhelming at the start and people are excited to play i guess, so they are trying to prepare. I prefer to find out how stuff works myself as well, but everyone ticks different. Live and let live.

Yea, we also are a guild that are looking into quality over quantity fights against the odds. Will see how possible it is in this game, some of the cc can just lock you down for several seconds atm without being able to do anything. Smallscale could be rough, but maybe there can be a way, lets hope so!

Do you mean graphics or gameplay? Graphics i sadly messed up settings in OBS for the twitch stream, there is a lot of footage around that shows better things and the latest video is a bit better already. But since it's twitch vod uploads it's still not great quality. As for gameplay i guess it depends what people like and prefer, game still needs a lot of time to be finished and yea it can feel horrible sometimes. The things that work are fun to me tho.

Yes they still need a lot of time for this being a complete game and there is a lot of broken stuff that can be very frustrating. The foundation is here tho, overall it is playable and i'm having fun figuring things out. I have a lot of patience and played a lot of alphas so i'm used to things not working and server issues. Totally understand if people prefer to not play in this state tho.

@@CrustyCroco I hope it turn out good but I really wouldnt count on it. They got too much money from people who want to play the alpha to the point they could drop the game and take the money. Unless they finish it and sell it for like 100$ total or 20$ per month which is also not a good thing

Hey, yea, some drop chances are really random. usually where physical spellbooks drop you should be good to go farm there tho. you can always check ashescodex as well for loot table on certain enemies

Hey, well at least it is one way to do it. There are several, you can pretty much go with any size of group and do respective content. Just important to have good kill times and good respawns. Solo farming so far gave me the most loot and glint tho.

Hey! You have to "hunt" animals in the wild, at the moment it's just a placeholder mechanic, petting the animal to "death". As a result you can get a carcass or an alive version of that animal. Then you have to bring it to a husbandry station and there you can tame it for i think 70 silver if they didnt change it.

Yea, people say cleric dps is bad. While i agree single target dps isnt the best, the aoe solo farming the cleric can sustain on the lower levels is only somewhat matched by the bard.

Yea, would be really cool to have several viable options. Really really hope cleric/cleric isnt necessary to be able to fill the healing role properly.

When I asked about druids on forums I got a vague answer, but then again I asked in a such way that I implied that druids have shapeshifting. Hey, at least there is shaman and I hope he has totems.

@@CasabianN-xr5sc Yea, noone knows enough at this point to give a definitive answer, we can only guess from small hints that they mentioned like "schools of augments that will change the abilities". Some skill augments may just change a skill by a small margin while others could completely change how it works, so we will have to play the waiting game (yet again) for the classes.

@@CrustyCroco The reply I got hinted me that druid (WoWlike) was possible, but not within class augments. It's probably an augment beyond class system (religion, race, quest etc.)

Good question, if Cleric/Cleric is necessary to do the endgame content and is needed for pvp, then sadly it will be that. Otherwise it really depends what the augments will do. Cleric/Mage sounds kinda fun to me, or Cleric/Summoner. Will have to see what it actually does.
